About this campspace
A marvelous little corner of paradise, on the edge of a river, 1 hour south of Paris, at the edge of the Fontainebleau forest...
Charming and bucolic setting. Very quiet, cool and bright. Nestled in the trees and vegetation. Our little wooden chalet overlooks the Loing. Direct access to the river, in which it is quite possible to swim. The water is fresh, clean and delicious.
The activities
The garden has direct access to the river. Swimming is free but under the full responsibility of everyone (not accessible to small children). A "beach" accessible to all is 5 minutes away by car and allows the youngest not knowing how to swim yet. We lend snowshoe games.
To have fun going up the river, we rent to those who want to:
- our 2-seater canoe-kayak (10€)
- our flat-bottomed fishing boat (10€)
- our small electric boat (10€)
IN THE HEART OF NATURE
Our place is close to the Plaine de Sorques (a protected area on the grounds of a former sand quarry). This sensitive natural area is home to many species of birds, amphibians and wild mammals. A path goes around it, it leads to two observatories allowing to observe birds and deer in all discretion.
We are on the edge of the forest of Fontainebleau. It is a fabulous natural heritage to discover. Former hunting domain of the kings of France, this vast forest of more than 22 000 ha of preserved nature deserves its title of "Forêt d'Exception®". This radiant and sensitive nature is an invitation to travel to the mountains or to distant lands thanks to the diversity of its landscapes, its fauna and its flora: rocky chaos and viewpoints, ponds and moors, expanses of sand, lush or boreal forest...
THE VILLAGE OF MONTIGNY-SUR-LOING
Pretty village with a friendly and family "beach" where you can swim along the river.
All shops within 10 mn walking distance : bakery, Carrefour Contact, library, hairdresser, café, restaurant, pizzeria, tea room, exhibition gallery, etc.

I have lived in my little chalet on the banks of the river with my children since 2020. I love life in contact with nature and I have a taste for meeting people, sharing and welcoming people!
I teach French language and culture to foreign students from all over the world.
I myself have traveled a lot: in Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Turkey, Israel, North Africa, Canada, the United States, New Caledonia, in Polynesia...
I really like camping and sleeping under the stars. It delights me to allow travelers to enjoy the serenity and freshness of my pretty little garden located in a green setting away from the world.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
