the garden is in the early stages of permaculture, with dry toilets and compost....and space is available under a shed and in the garden for relaxing or eating.
the house is also a guest house, so there will often be people around at the same time as you, so everyone must respect each other and keep the noise down in the evenings
On the whole it's very quiet, sometimes a few cars pass through the street, there's a streetlight that's switched off after 10pm and the view looks out over trees where a stream runs.
The activities
There are a few velocipedes on site, as well as board games and other leisure activities.
A telescope for stargazing.
Otherwise, there's a lake in the village, with rest areas and games for children, and a fitness trail. The nearby Cher river is perfect for swimming if the water isn't polluted, or at least for picnicking.
Other things
There's a château in the village that can be visited in summer only, but is also very beautiful from the outside, troglodyte cellars can be visited all year round in Bourré, 4 km from here, and Beauval zoo is 13 km away.
