About this campspace

I tried to make a presentation for different styles of stays, +or - idle, + or - independent, + or - participatory, it's as you wish.

It is therefore an old farm, in the town of Loché sur Indrois, 5 km from the town.
It's totally rural, very natural, on the edge of the Baugerais woods, 4km from the Loches forest. There are many circuits for walkers, or mountain bikers, or quad bikers.
It is not difficult to see wild animals (game, heron etc.); Small shops nearby 5km away. Tourist places about an hour to an hour and a half away by car (Loire castles, Beauval Zoo, Chaumont Garden Festival, etc.).

Activities
On site, walks, local festivals, some historical monuments to visit (Chartreuse du Liget, Citadel of Loches, Château de Montrésor), Lake Chemillé (developed as a family nautical base with, among other things, tree climbing).
Natural swimming in the Indre 5 km away, very family friendly. Pony club (pony and horses) 15 minutes away.
Verneuil golf course 30 minutes, ULM aerodrome 10 minutes.
An hour's drive from Tours or Blois or Châteauroux.
20 minutes from the Beauval Zoo and the Seygi nautical base, half an hour from the Haute Touche animal park. Forest of books in Chanceaux near Loches last weekend of August.
And a little further by car (1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes), the Loire castles to the north, and the Brenne ponds to the south.
Also an hour's drive from the Chaumont Gardens (international festival of the Chaumont sur Loire gardens), 1h30 from Georges Sand's house
My mare Pouchka and I are ready to take you on a little walk in the forest, if time and my availability permit.

Other remarks
Possibility of picking some fruits or vegetables depending on the season. For specific camper van needs (drainage) you have to see.
For long stays, there is always "garden maintenance" to be done, if you wish and if you know a little about it, a little helping hand with garden maintenance against "reimbursement" of part of the reception rate, make me the offer at the start of your stay...we can always make arrangements.

Sanitary facilities
You will have access to a bathroom (shower and toilet) in the homestay which also gives access to a sink for washing dishes. Autonomous access during the day.
In addition to this, dry toilets are located in an old pigsty, therefore independent.
Possibility of providing a camping shower (shower plugging into the cigarette lighter with tent shower cabin and hot water container; notify 3 days in advance to have this accessory because I need it install) Thank you for your understanding

The equipment
Awning serving as a summer kitchen, fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, plancha, garden table, crockery available, night lighting for summer evenings, no running water under the awning (see photo). The "summer kitchen" is not operational out of season, the awning remains accessible all year round. Swing available. 2 electrical outlets are accessible outside, extension cord ready, Wifi.
Only the space under the awning is illuminated.
Possibility of lending one or two tents (3 places). For the price see the “tent loan” section

Tent loan
For a tent loan, as for the camping shower or the bicycles, it is necessary to notify me by confirmation of the reservation, at least 3 days in advance. thank you for your understanding
I have two 3-person tents that I can put at your disposal. To rent this equipment, please check an additional person (greater than or equal to 13 years old) when booking (3 people if you come with 2; 4 people if you come with 3, etc.) There is also the possibility of lend an inflatable mattress, insulating foam, a small camping table or 2 folding camping chairs. You will find the tent canvas assembled on your arrival, in order to prevent any risk of inadvertent handling of the material, which could cause deterioration.

The on-site caravan is set up on the "canvas" part of the site (see photos).
Unfenced site, in harmony with nature.
It's a 2+1-seater folding caravan with a 2-burner gas stove and a small electric fridge. Instant booking possible in season. For off-season bookings, please give me 3 days' notice.
It is possible to lend me one or two small tents (3 places) if you tick an additional person (over or equal to 13 years) to the actual number (which is equivalent to the rental of the tent set up). The tent will be set up on your arrival if you give me 3 days' notice by confirming your booking. Thank you for your understanding

You'll have access to a bathroom (shower and toilet) in the home, with independent access during the day, which also includes a sink for washing up. In addition, dry toilets are available in an old pigsty. Possibility of making a camping shower available (shower plugged into the cigar lighter with tent shower cubicle and hot-water canister) for "long stays"; please let me know 3 days in advance, by confirming the booking, so that I can have this accessory available, as I need to install it. The amenities
Summer kitchen" area under an awning, with stove (oven and hob), fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee-maker, gas griddle, small barbecue, garden table, night lighting for summer evenings, crockery available, cold water point on the front of the house, 2 electrical sockets accessible from outside, extension lead loan, wifi. Swing available. Only the area under the awning is lit. I can also offer a simple camping area, if you have your own camping equipment, see my other advert for this, with the provision of the "summer kitchen" area and the bathroom in the home. For animals, the site is not enclosed (except for horses), but there is a small wire kennel that can occasionally accommodate a dog or cat or birds (or exclusive because not all at the same time of course!).

Tent ready
I can lend you one or two 3-seater tents. I ask you to make an additional reservation (greater than or equal to 13 years) for tent rental. This means reserving 3 places instead of 2 if you are coming with 2 people, 4 places instead of three if you are coming with 3 people, etc... I would also ask you to give me 3 days' notice, by confirming the booking, as you will find the tent set up when you arrive. This is to prevent any risk of tampering that could damage the equipment.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

Please let us know your arrival time so that we can make arrangements. Generally speaking, the bathroom is accessible between 9am and 9.30pm, whether we are present or absent. However, any special needs can be discussed.
As this is a private home, everything is your responsibility. In particular, if you have small children, they are under your responsibility and supervision.
Similarly, if you have pets, please keep them under your supervision.
Please note that the site is not enclosed.
Please use the garbage cans and ashtrays provided.
The commune is committed to waste separation.
If not, bring your good humor and relaxed attitude, and we'll return the favor.

From experience, I must point out that I don't privatize my garden (so no exclusive reservations unless you reserve for 6 people from the outset). I manage reservations so that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet of the place, as well as the advantage of not being "on top of each other", and this in a spirit of solidarity. In the same spirit of solidarity, everyone is asked to clean up after themselves to leave the communal areas clean and neutral for the other campers.
