Welcome to our “Garden of Eden”!
Above the wine town of Leutesdorf on the lower Middle Rhine you are standing on a fenced-in meadow in the forest 🌳 right next to our fallow deer enclosure.
You can observe the friendly animals up close and also feed them with us. When have you ever had a big deer eat out of your hand? You can experience it with us! With us you will find unexpected peace and deep relaxation in the middle of nature.
Depending on the season, you can harvest a variety of untreated fruits in our orchard, which we charge you by weight, or you can help us with the harvest and receive a share of the harvested fruits in return.
In our small farm shop you can stock up on our nationally known handmade jams and fruit liqueurs. Fresh eggs are available at the nearby farm. If you want, you can help us with haymaking or other things on an hourly basis. As a reward there is a hearty snack afterwards 😊.
An extensive hiking area extends directly from our “Garden of Eden” 🥾. The popular “Rheinsteig hiking trail” with magnificent views of the Rhine Valley runs directly below our game reserve.
In the immediate vicinity and easy to reach on foot are two popular excursion restaurants, the “Edmundhütte” and the “Brombeerschenke”, both with breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley and the Eifel.
The idyllic wine town of Leutesdorf in the valley can also be reached on foot. Here you can refresh your wine supplies and stop off at Straußwirtschaften. Leutendorf is known for its popular wine events, such as the “Emmausgang” on Easter Monday, the “Wine Experience” in the vineyards on Mother’s Day, the wine picnic 🍷 “Tafeln am Strom” in August and the “Winzerfest” in September.
Other tourist attractions include: B. the world's largest cold water geyser opposite Leutesdorf on the other side of the Rhine and the "Roman World" in Rheinbrohl, where the Roman Limes once began. The brine thermal bath “Kristall-Rheinbad-Therme” in Bad Hönningen is also well-known and popular, where you can let yourself be pampered.
As you can see, it doesn't get boring with us so quickly!
Your parking space is fenced and protected from view. For a fee there is also electricity ⚡️ for charging batteries (no permanent connection) and fresh water (via canister). Your toilet should be on board. There are disposal stations nearby in Bad Hönningen, Neuwied and Andernach.
Since 2023, the municipality has charged a tourist tax per day and guest (€1.50), which I have to pass on to the responsible authority. The tourist tax is paid here on site.
Before you arrive, please let us know by phone in good time when you will be arriving. The parking space is not that easy to find, even with the coordinates and address, and we would be happy to be there to show you the beautiful place in person! If you book spontaneously, you must arrive by 6 p.m.!
Our “Garden of Eden” will be open for you in 2024 from the end of March to the end of October.
We look forward to your visit 🤗!

We, Heike & Jörg, retired from the big city of Düsseldorf 15 years ago, gave up our previous jobs and started a new life in the country. Today we make fine jams by hand, manage an orchard and look after a friendly herd of fallow deer. We look forward to letting our guests share in our life close to nature! Heike & Jörg
