Our farm is located directly at the nature reserve Melbecketal-Rübencamp and offers you vacation opportunities in great variety.

Our nature camping pitch is a fully equipped pitch with electricity, drinking water connection and WLAN.
So you don't need to buy a compressor for electricity or spend a long time looking for a network for your smartphone - everything is already there.

Experience the unique landscapes of the Melbecke nature reserve in all their beauty.
The valley of the Melbecke is embedded between the Fretter- and Elspetal in the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge.
Our farm is located in the middle of Melbecke-Lennestadt.
Destinations
Hike around Elspe or visit the unique shows in Europe's largest show and festival park in Lennestadt.
A special highlight is the Karl May Festival, which attracts a good 200,000 guests every summer and can definitely compete with Bad Segeberg.
Dive for a few hours into the world of the wild west and let yourself be carried away by Winnetou & Old Shatterhand.
In the Sauerland- Rothaargebirge nature park, hiking trails and grandiose views beckon.
With the many attractions such as stalactite caves, castles and mining monuments there is certainly no boredom.
For bird lovers, the region is an Eldorado, because gray woodpeckers and rare red kites live here.
If you are traveling with your own vehicle, you should definitely take a trip to the Galileo Park to the Sauerland Pyramids with changing exhibitions.
Various museums like the mining museum Siciliaschacht in Lennestadt, the Südsauerlandmuseum in Attendorn or the Heimatmuseum in Nethpen await your visit.
In the 80-hectare Panorama Park Kirchhundem you will find a roller bob run, a wildlife park with various native animal species and many other attractions that will make your stay here unforgettable.

Our family has lived on our holiday farm in the idyllic Melbecketal since 1307.
In the past we have farmed with livestock, grassland and arable farming.
Unfortunately we had to give up farming for health reasons and have been renting out a holiday home and holiday apartments to holiday guests since 2006.
We have been renting natural camping pitches since September 1st.
We really enjoy this work.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
Since our guests are looking for dysentery and recreation in nature there are some rules to follow.
Partying and loud music is not allowed on the site of the pitches.
From approx. 22,00 o'clock the night silence is to be kept.
Campfires may only be made in fire bowls.
Campfires are not allowed in dry weather.
Barbecues are allowed on suitable grills.
Please pay attention to safety when grilling in dry conditions.
Please dispose of garbage properly and separately in the garbage cans in the courtyard.

Since the forest and the valley downhill at the nature campsite is under nature protection is
entering the woods is not allowed and prohibited.
The Rübenkamp with its juniper heath is also under nature protection.
Here you are only allowed to walk and hike on the paths.
Last but not least.
On our nature camping site every camper should show consideration for the other campers,
so that everyone can rest and relax.
