About this campspace

The farm is a place that offers different activities with donkeys (hiking, animal mediation, workshops, training).

The farm is located in the middle of the countryside, with no neighbors, on the edge of a road, and covers 10 hectares, which are divided between meadows, small woods and buildings.
The whole is both pretty and well maintained ... while leaving room for nature, wildlife and flora.

The activities
On the spot, it is possible to rent a donkey to go for a walk or to participate in a workshop for children/parents around donkeys.
As the farm is on the edge of the road to Santiago de Compostela, it is possible to go for a walk on nice paths.
The Canal de Nantes à Brest is about 4 km away by footpath.
We are 2 km from the town of Saint-Gildas des Bois (possibility to go there on foot to buy supplies in the shops, presence of a station) and 7 km from the town of Guenrouët, which is on the edge of the Nantes-Brest canal (vacation atmosphere, many shops, canoe or paddle rental, fishing...).
We are 20 minutes from Redon (cinema, pleasant city...)

Other things
Dogs accepted but well educated (presence of donkeys and my dog).

It is possible to pitch the tent in the small wood (pleasant, well protected and perfect in case of hot weather or rain), which is about 200 m from the farm and where dry toilets and water point are installed.
The outdoor "kitchen" and the bathroom are located within the farm (a nice path connects the wood and the farm buildings).
Exceptionally, it is possible to put the tent under a barn if it rains.
There is a parking lot for the car, but not very big.

The sanitary facilities
Dry toilets are installed near the buildings and are intended for all the public welcomed on the farm.
Other dry toilets are located in the small wood, only for campers.
A small shower/bathroom trailer (hot water) is installed on the farm.

Very simple outdoor kitchen (in covered building), with drinking water point, sink, table and chairs (cold water only).
Perfect to eat under cover if it rains.
No gas stove, oven, kettle...
Possibility to put an extension cord for electricity if necessary.

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

The farm is open every day and all year round, but on reservation.
So there are often enough people to go around during the tourist season.
Smoking : no problem, but not in the buildings (presence of hay), not in the woods and no butts on the ground. Children are welcome under the supervision of their parents :-)

I live on my small farm, with a herd of 11 donkeys, who accompany hikers on tours ranging from half a day to several days, never far from the Nantes-Brest canal.
The farm is 10 ha and has a small wood, meadows and different places to pitch a tent.
