About this campspace

We are a family with 2 children (10 years old and 4 years old in 2023) and we welcome you to our 3 hectare land including 2 hectares of woods. We have been based in the Gers since 2021, we have set up a permaculture vegetable garden, a farmyard and like to transform our harvests (jams, jars etc.) in a need for autonomy and anti-waste. We love to entertain and love simplicity! Laurent is from Reunion and loves cooking over a wood fire!
Many animals are part of our daily lives: chickens, geese, goats, ducks, rabbits, guinea fowl and even quails! a small farmhouse that will delight visitors :)
Independent dry toilets are at your disposal as well as picnic tables with a view of the oak grove!

The land is in a country hamlet, little traffic! Country setting with a view of a forest, century-old oaks and our henhouse and vegetable area. We have a wide variety of animals, they can make noise, including the gentle crowing of the rooster in the morning :)

Activities
Activities of a family micro farm: feeding the animals, gardening, picking/harvesting, discovering and cooking wild plants, Reunion Island cooking workshops over a wood fire. In the surrounding area, you can visit the fortified village of Courrensan (located 4 minutes away), go hiking, markets... in summer, there is a large aquatic center in Gondrin (located 5 minutes away).

Other remarks
Breakfast possible (5 euros/person): bread with homemade jam, coffee/tea or chocolate, fruit juice and boiled egg.

Pitches for tents are located in the oak grove, on slightly sloping grassy ground in the shade of the trees. Pitches for camper vans and minivans are located on the edge of the oak grove, in the shade, on flat ground. Easy access, gateway entrance (2.90m).

The sanitary facilities
A dry toilet is located close to the pitches. An outdoor shower with washbasin is currently being finalized, and we're looking into a solar-powered hot water system. In the meantime, sanitary facilities with hot water are available on site.

The amenities
Drinking water is available, and an extension cord can be provided if needed to recharge phones outside. An outdoor kitchen is planned, but we can always be of service in the meantime! A fridge is available on request and can be made permanently available.
