About this campspace

Member since 2020, Valérie has been welcoming you since summer 2022.

Come and pitch your tent and enjoy the calm of the village of Châtelneuf. 10 minutes by car from Champagnole, the village is close to all amenities.

Close to the 4 lakes (Maclus, Ilay, Narlay), Hérisson waterfalls, Rocher de la Baume (beautiful walks departing from the house for all walking levels)

The house overlooks 2 hectares of land where everyone can find a quiet location.

We are in the countryside. The setting calls for rest and calm. Guaranteed rejuvenation and natural cure.
In summer, my chickens and a little rooster are present and roam freely on the land

Activities
For those who like walking, there are hiking trails starting from the house and for all walking levels.

Lakes Ilay, Maclu and Narlay are about 15 minutes away by car

Close to Lake Chalain, Chutes du Hérisson, Champagnole and its local Saturday morning market (where I source excellent local products that I know how to showcase to delight your taste buds).

Other remarks
The Espace Aliénor (lotus tent 6m in diameter) is a sacred space, dedicated to your well-being and relaxation.

I offer sound journeys to the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, koshis, drums and other instruments.

The back of the house and the orchard can accommodate several tents (4-5 tents) and when the cows are away, tents can set up in their meadow (2 hectares).

The sanitary facilities
Shared WC and shower.

There are dry toilets and a tap outside. You can take a shower and use the communal areas (kitchen, living room).

Internet: NO WIFI and a weak network. Ideal for digital detox.
Very good connection to the trees, the place, the inner calm... Here you can (re)connect with your true nature.

After a complimentary aperitif, I also offer evening meals (starter, main course, dessert) for €20/person. I like to cook with fresh, seasonal produce that I find at the Champagnole market from local artisans.

Tent ready
The house has a shared room with 8 beds (at an extra charge for bed linen and cleaning).

In case of bad weather and if there is no rental, there is the possibility of sleeping in a comfortable bed (8 single beds).

(I also lent my sofa-bed to one of my guests who came by bike in the pouring rain! I didn't have the heart to let him pitch his tent in the rain).

  • Hikes departing from the house, lakes of Ilay, Maclu and Narlay 20 minutes by car, near waterfalls and springs

  • Ideal for a bowl of nature! Visit to the farm possible with children. Espace Alienor (lotus tent 6m in diameter) is a Vosges relaxation space with Tibetan bowls

  • Saturday morning market in Champagnole. Fruit growers and grocery store nearby. Please note there are no stores in the village.
