About this campspace

Permaculture eco-lodge offering 2000m2 of flat, shady land for a few nights' peace and quiet, close to the town of Castres (5min drive from town center). Dry toilets, washbasin and cold shower on site. Possibility of charging your phone at home.
Mathieu and I would be delighted to meet you and show you around our farm.

This typical old Tarn farmhouse, planted with trees and set on a flat plot of land, is in a peaceful setting surrounded by fields and forest. The site is very quiet and maintained according to permaculture principles.
We have a very friendly dog, chickens and donkeys. Beware of mosquitoes!

The activities
Hiking in the Sidobre, visiting Castres and the surrounding area, the medieval village of Lautrec...

Other things
Beware, vehicle access is narrow in places and there are bumps. To be avoided with low or wide cars.

Sanitary facilities are clean but very basic: new dry toilets, a sink and a shower cubicle (beware, the water is not heated) located outside, in the camping area.

Living in an eco-place where I cultivate according to the principles of permaculture, I can welcome you to a plot equipped with a dry toilet and an outdoor shower (unheated) to spend a few quiet nights in the open air in the middle of rural area on the outskirts of the town of Castres.
