Our land is located at the top of a hill which dominates the surrounding countryside. From there, the panoramic view of the mountains of the Parc des Madonies is fantastic. The place is rich in wild plants, trees (oaks, ash trees, olive trees, fruit trees) and varied crops (in spring: old varieties of wheat, beans, peas, etc.). In summer we harvest manna on site, from certain varieties of ash trees. This is an ancient tradition now practiced only in this region of Sicily. Manna is edible and is used in natural medicine, cosmetics and confectionery.
Our land is located on the top of a hill. From there, you will enjoy a fantastic panoramic view on the Madonie mountains. The place is rich in wild plants and trees. In summer we harvest manna from the ash trees. It is an old tradition which has now only survived in the area on Sicily. Manna is edible and used in natural medicine, cosmetics and pastries.
It is our land if we find it on a hill if it is affable in the countryside into the future.

We are ourselves naturalist guides (Madonie Explorers) and organize hikes in the Madonies Park.
Cultural visits: towns of Cefalù and Castelbuono, many small villages nearby.

Good morning! My name is Laetitia, I am French and I have lived in Sicily since 2008. I live in Castelbuono, a charming little town located in the Madonies Natural Park, a mountain region among the most beautiful on the island. With my partner Mario we organize excursions with our association Nature Explorers Sicily: botanical walks, trekking (1 to several days), hikes with a donkey, etc. As lovers of camping ourselves, we have been making our land available to campers for several years. The on-site facilities (compost toilet, solar shower, photovoltaic energy) reflect our philosophy of life and respect the environment as much as possible.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
