Tent
Quiet bivouac site on the banks of the Meuse.
You will be alone on the plot and will therefore be assured of peace and privacy. There are 1.5 hectares of meadow and undergrowth located opposite the cycle path that we call "The Greenway."
The place is calm, wild with a lovely view of the hills.
This year, only the pitch for the tents is mowed, the rest is left for sheep grazing in winter.
You can fall asleep in peace, listening to the owls! Maybe you'll even have the chance to see Beavers!
Activities
You can fish in the Meuse, directly from the plots.
it is possible to make a small campfire in the evening with the wood collected on site. (There is a BBQ grill)
Other remarks
This seems obvious and natural, but sometimes it is good to clarify:
We ask campers to leave the place as clean as when they arrived and to only make fires on the designated location.
We care about the tranquility of the place and only accept campers who respect the place and the animals... No parties, nor exuberant installations: barns, generator... Here we bivouac!
Anchamps is a nice little village, surrounded by forests. There are some nice hikes to do nearby including the famous Dames de Meuse loop.
Scout friends from France, Scouts from Europe and SUF, welcome!
