Experience Camping. Feel Africa. We are happy to take you with us!
Safritop rents out safari lodge tents, which are furnished in African style. Each tent has a theme from the nature of Africa in the form of an animal or country. All campsites selected by us are located in Europe. They have been selected by us for Tranquility, Space, Nature, Mountains, Water and Experience. Adventurous overnight stay in Luxury. Do you want to wake up and imagine yourself in Africa.

This spacious campsite is one of the most beautiful in Germany
It is located on the edge of the forest in the beautiful Hunsrück area. Our tents are located on beautiful spacious pitches on the campsite next to a stream near the natural swimming pool. There is much to experience at the campsite and offers plenty of facilities for young and old.

The Hunsrück is a low mountain range that is part of the Rhineland slate plateau in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Certain parts of the mountain range have their own names, such as the Idarwald, the Soonwald, the Binger Wald, the Schwarzwälder Hochwald and the Osburger Hochwald. The inhabitants of the region call the Hunsrück "Hundsbuckel".
The highest mountain of the Hunsrück is the 818 meter high Erbeskopf near Thalfang. This peak is at the same time the highest point on the German left bank of the Rhine and in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
What to do in the vicinity of the campsite (less than 20 kilometers from the campsite).

Hochwildschutzpark Hunsrück Rheinbollen. Nice animal park where all the animals in this area can be seen. Lots of direct contact with animals and feeding these animals are highlights in this park. You can even participate in a photo safari. A birds of prey show is held daily. For more information hochwildschutzpark.de
Beautiful hiking trails such as the Baybachklamm route in Kastellaun see for more information Kastellaun.de and also the Murscher Eselsche and Rabenlay for more information www.emmelshausen.de. Discover how the Romans made wine on the high plateaus of the Rhine. You can see this when you walk on the Rheingoldbogen route. Or do you prefer to walk on idyllic paths through stream valleys, such as on the Schwalberstieg hiking trail. So many hiking trails are near the campsite that are an adventure for young and old to experience.
New is the longest suspension bridge in Germany on the Baybachklamm hiking trail. Watch the Video here
Visit the town of Kastellaun. This town is still an authentic fortified town where you can also find a castle.
The golf course in the Landgasthaus Hotel zur Post is recommended for beginners and advanced players. For information spielgolf.eu
There are also numerous routes for cyclists and mountain bikers for more information hunsruecktouristik.de

What is there to do a little further in the area

Visit Cochem. A historic town on the Moselle, where you can wander around all day, visit the ReichBurg on top of the mountain and where it is possible to take a boat trip on the Moselle.
Gehlweiler is a historic village which was the shooting location for "Die Andere Heimat" by Edgar Reitz. Walk through the old streets and visit the shooting locations of this film, visit the museum where the Film is central and finish in the parental home of the maker where you can watch recordings from your lounge.
You can discover even more antiquities yourself and walk through the copper caves in Hunsrück in the besucherbergwerke where you can look for fossils yourself.
An aircraft museum in Hermeskeil where you get an impression of aviation technology. More than a hundred original aircraft are on display, including the Concorde.
If you want to see more technology and not only airplanes but also cars, boats and trains, go to Museum Sinsheim and Museum Speyer. These are close together in terms of distance and the entrance tickets are combined. Visit the IMAX theater in Speyer. For information www.technik-museum.de
