Lovely quiet campsite with an amazing view. Even with our lowered VW Beetle we can get up just fine, so we don't understand the negative reviews. Yes it is style, but we are in the Ardennes aren't we. Sanitary is indeed outdated, but functions well. It's back to basic camping, exactly what we love.

How was the contact with the host?
Super nice. Every day the gentleman came by on his bike to welcome the new people and ask if you needed anything. Speaks fluent Dutch and French and really takes the time for you.

Tips for new guests?
Too many to list, but the driving itself is great there. If you drive back to the roundabout and cross it you will come to a huge supermarket / department store where they really have everything.
Also of course Malmedy, Stavelot, Houffalize, Sankt Vith, Durbuy and Gouvy are super nice places to visit.

We arrived late at the campsite so it was already dark. We were able to choose the parking space for our camper ourselves. We had found a beautiful place with a lot of privacy but still close to the sanitary facilities. Quiet location with enough trees for some shade.

There was no electricity or water at our place, but that was not an issue for us because we were passing through. Driving to the camping site had to be over an unpaved and steep path.

Camping à la ferme Klein Rost is a very pleasant, relaxed place. Nice large pitches with shadow from the trees, electricity and water nearby. Lots of space for kids to roam around. Facilities are basic and clean. You can buy homegrown vegetables from the farm. Definitely coming back!
