Camp(er)-ground Zen-Residence
Safe and sheltered, well maintained and highly appreciated by nature lovers and seniors.
Your own private pitch by a babbling brook or under the trees; on short grass or, where necessary, on a firmly paved surface.
From the A64 motorway it is 14 minutes via Route Nationale D929; or else - also via the D929 - inland via Agen and Auch to the south. We are easy to find via the paved road.
With plenty of privacy and space for a handful of campers or campers, on a 5.5 hectare nature reserve.
Peace and quiet await you, interrupted only by the song of birds and the murmur of the river during your first breakfast.
A fantastic place; the view and the rich plant and animal life make staying here like an oasis; far away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
In the area you will find numerous good and affordable restaurants, where you can enjoy an extensive dinner or a delicious lunch.
For naturism enthusiasts, the naturist paradise De Egelantier is a short distance away, with a restaurant by the pool where dressed guests are also welcome.
The river, where a small beach invites you to bathe and play. Fishing is possible, although trout are sometimes difficult to catch. Thanks to the rolling landscape without stagnant water, there are few or no mosquitoes, many animals regularly come here to drink water.
Smoking indoors or outdoors and vaping are not permitted. We have a 100% smoke-free environment. Barbecuing is of course not included.
Small pets are welcome upon consultation.
What else sets us apart:
As a Zen Residence we offer various courses, private or in a small group:
- The one or two-day course “preparation of authentic Sichuan food, and dinner afterwards”.
- Southern Chinese small dishes course, for breakfast, dessert or snack.
- Afternoon course in Chinese calligraphy and brush drawings, where possible on the terrace enjoying the summer and the beautiful view (there is an adapted program for children).
- Various forms of traditional Chinese therapies, dance expression and holistic body work.
Lassales/Garaison and the surrounding region offer a fascinating mix of historic, religious and natural attractions, as well as plenty of space for sport, relaxation and good food nearby. Pleasant in summer and just below the snow line in winter.
The Demi-Lune in Lannemezan, an amusement park and petting zoo for parents with sporty children from 3 to 12 years old.
The Notre-Dame de Garaison sanctuary: A sanctuary dating back to the 16th century. A wealth of history and architecture. Free to visit, within walking distance.
Parc National des Pyrénées: This vast national park offers breathtaking landscapes, walking, cycling and climbing routes; It also goes far into Spain by car.
Pic du Midi de Bigorre: One of the highest mountain peaks with a world-famous observatory, accessible by cable car from La Mongie, near Lourdes.
Thermal baths: Bagnères-de-Bigorre or Adervielle; supreme relaxation or for thermal therapies. Also a pleasant place to relax after skiing in winter.
The Cave of Bétharram: A beautiful cave with impressive formations, which can be visited with a guide.
Also worth mentioning: Jazz in Marciac, The Tour de France or the Concours au Haras national in Tarbes; and the many Vide Greniers where we will be happy to take you.
Drive calmly, enjoy and count your blessings
