Boeren Mini Camping is located in a beautiful, quiet location in Salland with a wide view over meadows with horses and near a small stable with retirement home horses.
We have a fire pit for you to use!
We have a shared shelter, below you will find walking and cycling maps, games, local newspaper and brochures, cold drink from the vending machine and fresh eggs from our own chickens every day! You can also come here for small necessities such as wood, charcoal, washing powder, bbq (once), fly swatters, homemade (scented) candles ect.
We also rent out a chalet, pipowagen, retro caravan and a stable home (off grid). In addition to the stable home, bed linen and kitchen towels are provided, bring your own (bath) towels!
The stable home is unique and is separate from the camping site at the back of our property! It can only be reached via a footpath along the horses. It is furnished with 2 beds and mattresses, solar lamps, fire pit with grill and Dutch oven, cutlery and utensils, plates, cups, lighters and wood. Next to the house is a (dry) toilet and there is a zinc bathtub under which a fire can be lit! Water for the bath can be obtained from the pump.
Drinking water can be obtained from the sanitary building at the campsite, you can also use our sanitary facilities, but for a real off-grid experience you can save yourself at the cottage! Possibly there is room for an extra tent, the cottage itself is for 2 people.
You can rent bed linen (for stable home) from us, we also have towel packages (2 (bath) towels, 2 washcloths, bottle of shampoo and shower gel)
Landgoed De Oostermaat is nearby, in the beautiful, quiet and rural Okkenbroek.
There are many walking and cycling paths around our place, where you can enjoy nature, such as the peddlerpad and the pieterpad.
Eight kilometers from our place is Deventer Koekstad (located on the IJssel) with its historic city center, rich in beautiful historic buildings that you can also admire during a city walk. Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park is 6.5 kilometers away, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.

We had a nice long weekend! We could stand next to each other with two spacious tents and when the weather turned, the microcamping had 2 canopies with seating space to sit together dry. 1 of them has a fire pit with grill: so you can still barbecue!
The sanitary facilities are very neat and clean, although the drain sometimes has some difficulty with processing. In case of problems, Zuzan is quickly on site to solve it.
How was the contact with the host?
Zuzan is a kind woman. She regularly walks by and can therefore be approached if you want to know something or have questions. Zuzan was also easy to reach before arrival to answer our questions and the request to stand next to each other.
Tips for new guests?
Many nice hiking trails nearby!

Very nice farm campsite located on a quiet road with a beautiful view! Neat facilities and a nice atmosphere. In the morning we were warmly greeted by the curious horses from the adjacent stable. Nice place to do nothing at all!
How was the contact with the host?
Top! Nice and casual, informal and friendly.
Tips for new guests?
Definitely go if you're in the area or if you like small-scale, quiet campsites. The area is also worth exploring.

Very nice campsite with beautiful places.
Kindly received.
Water and a sink on site, right in front of our door.
A container of herbs that you can use.
Showers good and hot. Toilets clean.
In the middle of very varied nature, you can walk straight into the forest. There are also several well-marked hiking trails nearby.
Covered area where you can sit, make tea/coffee, bookcase, games etc.
Our 2 teenagers have not been bored for a second and have not missed their screen.
How was the contact with the host?
Very good.
After booking for 2 people, we eventually had babysitting problems, so our children had to come last minute.
That was no problem.

We really loved the A-frame house! Slept in a lot of places now, but not yet in a place like this. A very unique experience with lots of privacy, a complete interior and optimal enjoyment of the outdoors. We will definitely come back!
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host was very good! Zuzan responds quickly, even when you are there.
Tips for new guests?
In the cottage is a guest book with all kinds of tasty recipes for over the fire. Super fun to get inspired for your own meal on the campfire. You can also add your own recipe :)

We came with two tents and a camper, Zuzan had ensured that we could still stand together, even though we had not booked at the same time. This was really great! So we had a good time together. The sanitary facilities were clean and the camping site was pleasant. Recommended!

Nice spot near Salland at a horse pension. Mini-camping is decorated, with a “seating area”, chalet, pippowagen and fire pit. Only tight spots (busy due to summer holidays?) and little vegetation / shade.

Host Zuzan has responded

Dear Leontien, Thank you for the review! We started last year so the bushes are still small. The places are spacious, you had booked a trekkers field, only suitable for a small (trekkers) tent with an adjusted price. We also emphasized this in the email.
Always welcome back then maybe at a "normal" camping spot! Kind regards Zuzan

Quiet area and nice environment with both forests and meadows. However, we did miss our privacy at the campsite. The spots are quite close together.
How was the contact with the host?
Great, friendly host and everything is neatly maintained.
Tips for new guests?
If it is warm, it is nice to bring a parasol or tarp. The places are completely in the sun.

Dear Robin, thank you for the review. It is a pity that you find the places close to each other, we have created fewer places to keep space around the places. Most places have enough shade, where you stood this is not much, we only started last year so the bushes and trees still have to grow a bit!

In the gypsy wagon, the nice chalet or in your own tent - staying overnight at this mini farm campsite is super fun! What a warm welcome and beautiful place. The atmosphere on the farm between the horses is relaxed and quiet, you can enjoy walking or cycling in the beautiful surroundings and the cozy Deventer is within cycling distance.

It was a warm welcome. The owner was very cordial. Our son absolutely loved the horses. A beautiful field with not too many places. There were many flies because of the horses, but we took that for granted. The host was very involved and knew a lot about the area.
