Lodge
Spend the night in the outbuilding of the farm, located in the floodplains of the IJssel! Wijhe is located in beautiful Salland - between Zwolle and Deventer - and there is an idyllic place available for your holiday. You will spend the night next to 5000m2 of young tree nature and a starting food garden, next to our farm. We offer 1 unique place, so peace and privacy are guaranteed.
Last winter we started planting the hedgerow landscape and the orchard. Every week we plant new fruit trees and shrubs so that we can harvest an abundance of the tastiest fruit with our guests; We cannot accelerate this pace yet, so please be patient for fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit from our own garden.
The orchard has a picnic table and a tripod/fire pit. We have adopted 8 ex-laying hens which have their run in the orchard... collecting eggs is allowed in the morning. Cycle beautiful routes through small, charming villages and take the ferry to the Hanseatic city of Hattem to find the return route via Heerde and Epe with the ferry in Veesen, which will take you back to Wijhe. For culture lovers and good restaurants, Zwolle and Deventer can be reached within 20 minutes by car. The village center of Wijhe is reachable within 10 minutes. And do you fancy a nice walk? From the camping spot you can walk a beautiful circuit of about 5 km, most of which is along the dike along the IJssel!

We are Bas & Mariette and live with our children Ivy, Elsa & Monty in the renovated back house in Wijhe. In our spare time we are busy with the finishing touches to the renovation of the house and greening our garden and orchard. We offer a beautiful spot in this unique piece of the Ijssel landscape in the middle of Salland. Be welcome at Pluk Wijhe!

During the restoration of our home, the highest insulation requirements were used and we saved many existing materials from demolition through reuse elsewhere. In our field next to our garden we are realizing the transition from a field to a healthier and more vibrant picking garden; We have also planted 800 meters of mixed hedges for boundary boundaries and biodiversity improvements. We are currently working on a system to reduce water use and collect more water for our country.
There is waste separation in the outbuilding; we have a compost heap and everything runs on 100% green energy; largely from our own 30 solar panels in the country.
In the outbuilding there is only A+++ equipment and all lamps are LED; equipped with motion detectors for automatic switching off.
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Due to the thatching of our farm and the outbuilding, a BBQ and small fire on the fire pit are only allowed in one spot in the orchard (we provide the tripod BBQ); Please always have water available as a precaution. No loud music after 10pm
(not only for the neighbors and the neighbors' animals, but also because of the deer and other wildlife that come into the area for the night, we would like to keep it that way)
