About this campspace #s006603
Every weekend there is a cozy Banhout forest bar at the castle, but you can enjoy breakfast, picnic or brunch every day at the campsite. For other small and large hunger, we work together with local traders for a delicious and honest experience.
'Experience Banhout' from a crossroads of cycling and walking routes. Come and relax with us as a base place and explore the rolling landscape of Streuvels or cycle wonderfully close to the Leie and Scheldt. Enjoy us as a nice stopover on one of the iconic routes such as the Heuvelroute or the route of Flanders and then continue your journey.
Banhout Castle, located in the Banhout forest, is an oasis of tranquility and is regarded as the green lung of the region, a stone's throw from Kortrijk. The Neoclassical castle was built in 1857 in the middle of the ancient Banhout forest. Both the castle meadow and the castle itself can be used as a backdrop for a wide range of activities.
