Behind our garden we have a piece of land of about 1ha. In the appropriate seasons you can enjoy a piece of nature in full growth. Our garden is a source of life with an orchard, a picking garden and fresh vegetables.
You can store your tent on a shady area. You are completely surrounded by greenery. You have your privacy. You are best provided with your own material. There is a fire bowl with a diameter of 1m and an elevation with a grid. There is a woodpile. You can use the sanitary facilities through a separate entrance to our house. In our garden you have the freedom to enjoy the cozy spots. Feel like at home! At the moment my father is building a pizza oven. Who knows you make your own pizza? Mama Mia! We are happy to have a chat when you come camping with us. This way we can help you if necessary or show you around with some tips about the region. There is not much to say about our village itself. We live in the center of the village. Make no mistake, it is not a deserted, isolated place. The restaurant 'De Goede Geburen' is highly recommended. On the edge of the village, along the Scheldt, there is a beautiful golf course. We live 3 km from Oudenaarde. Oudenaarde, the city of the Tour of Flanders in the middle of the Flemish Ardennes. Would you simply like to come camp or spend the night on your exciting journey on foot or by bike? Ideal!
You are 2 km from Donkvijver. THE OUTSIDER. There you can windsurf, water ski, wakeboard, climb, swamp courses, etc ... Or are you a sporty cyclist and do you want to brave the classics of De Ronde Van Vlaanderen?
The city of Oudenaarde is worth a visit: historical center, Museum Oudenaarde, historical site of Ename Abbey and Provincial Archaeological Museum, tapestries, .. HIKING: Muziekbos, Kluisbos, GR routes, Burrekenbos, forest 'Ename, Walking through picturesque villages, Elzelles witch route, Hiking with alpacas in Zwalm CYCLING: many cycling routes, Koppenberg, Kwaremont, many mountain bike routes, ... EATING OUT: You will certainly find something suitable in oudenaarde or the surrounding area. There is an abundance on offer.

DUTCH: My husband and I live in Petegem. We form a small family with our 2 teenagers. Very large garden - simplicity - nutrition is to eat, to indulge, to experiment, to grow, to discuss, to learn about, ... - lots of sports - above all a passion for people to let us enjoy our piece of nature and to give the opportunity for a simple, comfortable and cheap overnight stay with a warm welcome.

The camping spot was amazing. Nice remote but still nearby toilet and shower. Contact with the host was super, we even got a thermos flask with coffee the first morning. I would really recommend this Campspace!
Super friendly people! A quiet, sheltered spot at the back of the yard, where you can camp. There is a fire pit where you can relax with a book in the evening. We were very happy with; every morning fresh coffee was ready next to the tent. Oudenaarde is an hour walk away and there are fantastic cycling routes, part of the Tour of Flanders. Recommended!
A huge garden with a vegetable garden where all kinds of people come together to grow their own vegetables! There is room for various camping spots and even space for a camper! The host and their children are very nice, we even baked pizza in the stone oven.
Super nice host, friendly and helpful. Sleeping surrounded by birdsongs Very friendly welcome, beautiful camping spot assigned among the trees, showering with a water bag under the trees, beautiful vegetable garden, grunting pigs, the fluttering of birds, you cant get closer to nature.
Rules
Camping with a tent is the most pleasant. Camping with the campervan is possible. But it is only possible to drive up once before arrival and once before departure (you have to drive through our garden)
It is not possible to drive in rainy weather.
