About this campspace

One of Tralaluna's creative, well-thought-out Tiny Houses is located in Jill and Aart-Jan's spacious forest garden. They regularly discover the world and we provide hosting.
A wonderfully tiny and yet spacious place. The beds can be set up as singles or as doubles, so whether you come with a hiking friend or your sweetheart, this place is suitable!

Comfortable all year round, thanks to ecological insulation, air conditioning that both heats and cools and a cozy wood stove. You can also sit outside by a cozy fire. Wood is available and if you want to chop some pieces, an ax is available!

The kitchen has a refrigerator, hot/cold water, induction hob and of course a complete inventory for cooking and dining. With fine wine glasses and coffee cups.

The bath house a stone's throw away is for private use and has a toilet, sink and shower. From the outside it is not recognizable that the basis of the bathroom is a sanitary unit from a boat. We don't know for sure whether it comes from a cruise ship that never went to sea, but it could be possible.

The Tiny House is located on the edge of the authentic village of Meppen and borders the Mepperdennen nature reserve. You walk straight into the forest, over stretches of drifting sand, heathland and juniper thickets. There are even more relatively undiscovered nature reserves in the immediate vicinity. Also gems for bird lovers. Tips and maps are available in the tourist information box in the house.

Tips

If you walk along the sandy path, you will come to the Mepperdennenbos and De Palms, a drifting sand area covered with Scots pine and oak trees, characterized by many old juniper bushes.
A stay in this central part of Drenthe gives you every opportunity to visit the 3 more famous National Parks. A day trip to the city of Groningen, Assen or Emmen is also great.
A tip list is ready for you in the house. You can do some shopping in the neighboring village of Aalden. There is a supermarket and bakery.
In this picturesque village of Meppen you can (walk) to a restaurant. Even more choice nearby, also easy to do with a (rental) bicycle.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
