Hello dear campers,
with us you stand directly on our fruit tree meadow (well, there is also a nut tree) in the middle of fields and only a stone's throw away from the forest. 🌳
Located almost in the middle of Germany and only two minutes away from the Autobahn (BAB7, exit no. 100, Gramschatzer Wald), the site is perfectly suited as a stopover solution for all travelers passing through.
The journey is via a paved dirt road (coming from the autobahn, turn right just before the sign for Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen).
It is about 300 meters to the village. Also within walking distance are:
- our own sheep pen in about 100m
- Alpaca enclosure (guided tours bookable) approx. 500m
- Ostrich farm about 900m
- Fallow deer enclosure approx. 1000m
- Barefoot path about 700m
In the area you will also find:
- Restaurant with beer garden approx. 3km (Hubertushof Fährbrück)
- Pilgrimage church in Fährbrück
- Forest adventure center Einsiedel with beer garden and climbing garden approx. 4km
- Autohof with Shell petrol station approx. 600m (incl. shop and restaurant with terrace and toilet (use 1€))
- Motorway chapel (approx. 500m)
We look forward to seeing you :)

In summer it is worth taking the approx. 45-minute walk to the Waldhaus Einsiedel or Hubertushof Fährbrück beer gardens.

I got there by car at night, hung my hammock and my tarp between two trees and went to sleep. The departure the next morning went smoothly.
How was the contact with the host?
Registration was super easy. I contacted Thimo at very short notice and received a promise to come to the meadow very late.
Tips for new guests?
A motorway service station is in sight and the truck headlights hit the place quite often. So you should keep in mind that you are not in a completely isolated place. Nevertheless, I slept very well here and the rest area is also written in the description.

Hey Sebastian, thank you very much for your review. I'm glad it worked out for you.
Very interesting point with the headlights you brought there. I hadn't had it on my radar at all until now. It's my first year here at Campspace and over the summer it wasn't really a problem as three rows of trees with leaves between the next road and the meadow intercepted a lot of headlights. Now in autumn and later in winter the rows of trees are naturally bare.
By the way, very cool photo with your tarp. As I said: I'm officially jealous and really have to hang up my hammock on the meadow myself again.

Way too expensive, nothing is indicated just coordination.
Nothing foreseen and the owner has little time.
Close to busy truck stop, the Biergarten that the manager talks about is nothing.
Toilet and restaurant available in truck stop, toilet use 1 €
How was the contact with the host?
All right, he came to see if I was parked properly after I called him.
Tips for new guests?
For this price I would go somewhere else or go wild camping.

Hello Michel, thank you for your review! As a relatively new Campspace host, this helps me a lot to make the pitch and the arrival and handling more attractive for future visitors.
Even if these only two stars hurt, of course. All the more so since these stories could of course have been clarified very easily during personal contact.
But perhaps a few words on the individual points for future guests:
Personal contact:
I try not to overdo it and to distract or even annoy my guests with my presence from the actual idyll of the area and the actual intention to camp. We have also had very nice evenings around the campfire with campers and have been able to arrange contacts, for example, with the local alpaca farm (guided tours highly recommended!) etc. So feel free to just signal that further information about the area, person, etc. is appropriate. And interrupt me but if it then degenerates ^ ^
beer garden:
The beer garden mentioned in my description is of course not the fenced-in mini-terrace of the rest area, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. As described, two really nice beer gardens (Waldhaus Einsiedel in the middle of the Gramschatzer Forest and Hubertushof Fährbrück right next to the pilgrimage church of the same name) can both be reached in about 45 minutes on foot / 5 minutes by car.
Parking space:
As described, my pitch is a meadow with fruit trees (which you can use like now during the harvest time for your own consumption!) right next to the forest between grain fields. Due to the location outside of the village, no toilet, electricity, water, etc. can be offered. Fortunately, many see this more as an advantage of the place. Nevertheless, thanks for pointing out the use of the toilet in the service area, I will include it in the description.
Directions:
And an even bigger thank you for pointing out the coordinates and correct parking. These are things that you don't really think about as a new parking space provider. I will also work on the description here and also mark the place better on site as soon as possible to make it as helpful as possible for a comfortable journey.
Convince yourself of all these points on your return journey. Happy and all the best!

Nice place, beautiful view. Off the grid. Just outside the village. Nice to be able to pick a few apples.
How was the contact with the host?
Very good. Because we weren't sure where to go, we called anyway. Good explanation, and both his wife and himself stopped by.
Tips for new guests?
Pass by the Apalca and horse farm. Close and very nice!

Hi Iben, thank you for your review! I can only recommend a visit to Sabine and Leo and their alpacas and horses to everyone here. And I'm currently working on better marking of the parking space, so it will be a little easier to find the perfect parking space on the meadow in the future.
I hope you had a great time and a pleasant onward journey. Gladly again. I am happy.
Thimo

The meadow was easy to reach and passable.
You can hear the noise of the highway, which is not very disturbing.
How was the contact with the host?
The host was very friendly and we had a nice chat.
Tips for new guests?
Look carefully at the map beforehand for the approach via the dirt road.

Hey Jonas, thank you for your visit and your review! Gladly again if you come back to our area.
I'll add the directions to the description of the place right away. Greetings Thimo

Our campspace is in the middle of nature and is very child and dog friendly.
The journey is via a paved dirt road (coming from the autobahn, turn right just before the sign for Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen).
At harvest time, you are welcome to pick one or two apples or walnuts from our trees for your own direct consumption.
But since there is really only meadow, fields and trees here, all your own waste/garbage is to be taken away/disposed of elsewhere without exception.
For more information about the parking space, the area, etc., just give me a quick call, I live locally and am happy to help and advise.
