The Hanewald-Schwerdt winery is located in Leistadt, a district of Bad Dürkheim about 3 km north. We offer a quiet, large meadow on the edge of the “Haardtrand – In der Rüstergewann” nature reserve with parking spaces.
Our winery is an ideal starting point for excursions - whether hiking, mountain biking or cycling. The Palatinate Forest begins about 200m behind the winery. Wine lovers are not left out: a chilled bottle of wine can be purchased and short tours and wine tastings are possible after a brief consultation. You can also spontaneously taste our wines in our wine tasting room during our opening hours.
Pets are allowed, but please note that dogs must be kept on a leash for nature conservation reasons.
Since the pitch is located on the edge of the "Haardtrand" bird sanctuary, playing loud music is not permitted.
Breakfast rolls are available in the neighboring town of Weisenheim am Berg, 2.5 km away.
From 12 noon, the Joujou (café/bistro/farm shop and bakery) in Leistadt invites you to shop and linger.
For dinner, the Bistro Joujou is within walking distance, otherwise there are places to stop in the neighboring towns of Weisenheim am Berg, Kallstadt and Bad Dürkheim.
In the summer months, the hiking hut at Ungeheuersee invites you to stop off on Wednesdays and Sundays. The hiking trail (green dot) leads directly past the campsite and you can reach Ungeheuersee in about 1 hour (3km).
The nearest supply and disposal station for mobile homes is in Bad Dürkheim, approx. 3 km away.
If you are unable to arrive during our regular opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am-12pm and 1pm-6pm and Sat until 5pm), please let us know. We will certainly find a solution.
The tourist tax (2€ per person/day) is not included in the booking price and must be paid before departure.
We look forward to seeing you!
