Together with my husband and kids Sven (12 years old) and Jiri (10 years old) I have been lucky to live on the Mommenhoeve. It's an old farmhouse in the IJssel valley close to Deventer with a huge fruit and nut orchard. I love making campfires behind the orchard and under a starry sky; either by myself or with other campers. I work as a photographer, artist, firekeeper and writer exploring living in connection with (our) nature. I love discovering new paths, both in work as being a parent, education and connecting to nature. But also literally; walking on new trails, meeting new people and follow the curiosity of my children. Recently my book 'Nieuwe paden banen' came out about pioneering and following your own way and adventure. I keep discovering how nice it is to by completely by myself in nature and I love to share this experience. If you are coming to stay for a solo camping trip, I will make sure there are no other around. Immerse yourself with nature and 'nothingness'.
