About this campspace #s005409
There is a house on the domain, this is called the tower. We call it villa Kakelbont. Surrounded by a (park) garden and a forest, it is wonderful to stay here. The sun is peeping through the leaves, and you feel carried here in the silence by the soft moss. You can cycle through the Sonian Forest to Brussels, which is beautiful. You will also enjoy the atmosphere of Lake Genval, the abbey forest of Rixensart and the folklore of Lahulpe. The garden has a tulip tree that blooms and you can hang under it. There is certainly enough space for a tent, car, bicycle, etc. The place is very safe and you can also close the domain. If a dog comes along, or an active twin. (I have a twin sister myself). There is an eco-farm about half an hour's walk away and I sometimes get my vegetables there. You will certainly find enough edible herbs. In short: a pleasant stay and taste.

I am a squirrel myself, jumping from snag to limb. With curly hair, I cycle through wind and weather. I like nature and like to wag my tail. This is a stay outside Brussels where I really "come home". PS: Anderlecht is my domicile address and Overijse is where I stay/live/stay for relaxation*

Peaceful location with a nice little forest and improvised tennis court. We met one of the resident squirrels who goes by the name "Michiel". Friendly fellow. We had fun and will most likely return someday.
Tips for new guests?
Don't put your van of tent under one of the streetlights. They light up during the night and will most probably disturb your sleep

That's right, those lanterns! That's well noticed! And thank you for coming and the nice review!

Since the garden is shared, try to take this into account:
- no garbage or demolition in the garden
- if you make a bbq/fire in consultation (timing / gathering wood / location)
- Respect for the neighbours, even if they don't live nearby
- open communication, provided that you still feel you can do your own things
- if it rains, there is a possibility to stay inside during storms, etc
- I don't have any pets myself, they are certainly welcome, subject to consultation
- important that it can remain nice and quiet since it is a residential neighborhood
- FYI: there is a small pavilion that is owned by the government, so we take into account that someone will come by for maintenance (garden / parking) - this is not weekly
