With lots to experience without even leaving the land, however situated not far from a lake, coastal walks, beaches and bridle ways
Farm fresh eggs for breakfast!

We had a lovely experience for our 3 night stay. The hosts were friendly, approachable and very accommodating, but also gave you your space. The site was very peaceful and has incredible scope for development. It was very good value and it was very nice, but with a little investment and a lot of energy, it could be fantastic. I would give it 5 out of 5 for value, location and hosting.

A lovely remote pitch in a location suitable for explorers. Great big skies to enjoy sunset and sunrise. Fridge kettle and sink very handy indeed. Basic small bathroom for hardened campers I'd say - we are very flexible and can adapt to most types of facility. Our experience was cut short due to storm Kyle and then storm Ellen. We left our tent there and asked the owner to remove it. We paid for 3 nights that we didn't stay because of the inconvenience to them. I think this was agreeable. We also left wine and beer in the fridge because we left very early as the weather deteriorated very rapidly and didn't see them.
The location was great for exploring the coast and was also close enough to get to Helston for supplies. I will use Campspace again for our adventuring 😊
Love the isolation peace and quiet and experience of nature (although the storms pushed us to the limit ) thanks

Our experience at this place was disappointing. We have been there for 6 nights (booked in advance). The beautiful view now stood an old caravan and mobile home. I had hoped for some trees given the description of this place, but the place where the tent can stand is a piece of grass. We had the misfortune that there were people staying in a place nearby who made a lot of noise, which also made the peace and quiet disappointing. There are compost toilets, however by the third day the sawdust you had to throw in there was gone. I asked if it could be refilled, that didn't happen. As a result, they started to smell more and more. At one point, the toilet paper ran out. It seemed that the toilets and shower were not cleaned. Just wipe it with a cloth. It is nice that there is a shower, it runs on a gas bottle so that the water is alternately cold and warm, otherwise the shower is okay.
I have not seen the chickens, runner ducks and fresh eggs mentioned in the text.
How was the contact with the host?
The first day I saw the host in the evening. She went away for a while so didn't see her again after that. For questions I could go to one of her children who also live there.
He did not return to the question whether the sawdust could be refilled in the compost toilet after he indicated that he did not know this. I found this really annoying, the toilet started to smell!
There are 4 dogs on this property. The camping field is enclosed by a fence, which prevents the dogs from entering the site. Yet this does happen regularly. At night I was once very shocked by the dogs that walked there when I had to go to the toilet. They also walk between the tents and the food (I have a gas stove on the floor).
Tips for new guests?
Sorry, I'm not very positive about this place. The area nearby and the coastlines are really beautiful!

We are advertised as a small working Xmas tree farm, family oriented, therefore we have children here.
You have taken pictures of my farmyard, not the campsite in a deliberate attempt to make it look like my camp field is a mess.
The static van is someone's home and not part of the site, it's been there 11years, not sure why you think it's taken your view?
We use the “piece of grass “ as you describe it, as that is a very flat field ideal for tents, it's also where the showers are, had you asked you could have moved to a remote field, but you had already decided you would pitch your tents bang between 2 bell tents, not really the behavior of a camper who wanted peace and quiet is it?
You could have called me at any time and I would have immediately arranged loo roll etc. you didn't, you waited until after you left then left this awful review.
We are a WILD campsite, most dont have toilets and HOT showers, not only did we allow you 2 tents but you also had facilities.
Sadly my ducks were eaten by the fox, and I have not updated the advert, I'm sure they and I were more upset about this than you.
I think you may be more suited to somewhere like a 4 star hotel than wild Cornish camping- please dont book again, we have had many very happy campers who have enjoyed their time here, I went to say goodbye as you were leaving and you rudely drove past me totally ignorant.
You aren't the peace loving wild camper you portray to be.
