At this camping spot you can completely immerse yourself in nature and you will not be bothered by others, because we only offer 1 camping spot! The camping pitch has a large wooden platform with a unique panorama over the pond and the hilly meadows. 20m further there is a compost toilet and at 300m walking distance right through the domain there is a particularly beautiful outdoor shower in the oak forest with warm running water, only for your use! GSM can be charged in the shed (250m away).

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES

Lodge op de Berg cannot be held liable for theft, accidents or damage that has arisen during the stay on the domain, except when this is the result of a serious shortcoming that can be attributed to it. In case of cancellation due to force majeure such as war, strike, natural disasters, extraordinary weather conditions, death of the owner, etc., the landlord can dissolve the agreement without compensation. When, through no fault of the landlord, the agreement is dissolved, the tenant is entitled to an equivalent or better alternative or the refund of the already paid part of the rent. Obvious errors and mistakes in a publication do not bind the lessor.
Lodge op de Berg has the right to inspect the camping spot during the rental period.
If the tenant (his family members, his guests or allowed visitors) does not comply with the obligations under the terms and conditions and the house rules, the landlord has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect and to deny the tenant and co-tenants access to the domain, without refund of rent. This also emphatically includes not respecting a night's sleep (silence after 10 p.m.) or causing unnecessary nuisance.





SPECIFIC HOUSE RULES

1. The stay of more people than agreed on the reservation is expressly not permitted without the written permission of Lodge op de Berg and may lead to Lodge op de Berg ending the stay prematurely.

2. It is forbidden to smoke on the domain due to the risk of fire in code yellow, orange and red, in accordance with the guidelines of the Agency for Nature and Forests.
3. A campfire is only allowed according to the guidelines of the Agency for Nature and Forests, the code must be respected.

4. Dogs are welcome provided the dogs are friendly and quiet with other guests and dogs. The domain is not fenced. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Dog faeces are deposited by the guest in the waste bag provided. 5. Waste water from campers / mobile homes will not be deposited on the domain. The guests deposit their waste water elsewhere in designated areas.
6. If the tenant discovers any damage or shortcoming after arrival at the domain, he will report this immediately.
If damage or shortcomings occur during the stay, the tenant must notify us as soon as possible. Any actions can then be taken immediately so that the consequences, possible consequential damage and nuisance remain minimal (both for the tenant and for the following guests). The tenant is liable for the damage caused by him, even if this damage is only determined after his departure.

THE LOCATION
Welcome to the Lodge op de Berg domain, located in Bree on a beautiful piece of land of over 2.5 hectares, a dream location in the rolling countryside of Limburg! On the domain, Gaëlle and Thierry let their guests fully enjoy themselves and reconnect with the better outdoors.
There are two lodges (holiday homes) and a private house on the domain. In spring and summer, Gaëlle and Thierry offer a unique camping spot on the large meadow on top of the hill for guests who are looking for a special and quiet place to stay in nature. The camping spot is located about 250m away from the lodges and the private house.
The camping spot is almost wild camping, but with the luxury of a nice compost toilet (on the camping spot) and a unique outdoor shower (located 300m away from the camping spot) with wonderfully warm water. Eco-friendly shower products are provided.

On the camping pitch itself there is also a large terrace with a view over the steep ridge and the pond. You can also fully enjoy the beautiful starry sky. There is also a fire bowl with firewood available for socializing. In the evening you sometimes hear the tawny owls calling and bats dance above your head. You fall asleep to the sound of the crickets. Very often you can even spot deer crossing the domain. Simply delicious!

Gaëlle and Thierry also offer a regional breakfast (extra charge) if desired.

AREA
The domain is located near cycling and walking routes. Bicycles can be rented at e-bike 2 rent. Beautiful short and long-distance walks also start from the domain, right through nature. Gaëlle and Thierry have mapped out a few walking routes for their guests on an app. Supermarkets and the pleasant center of Bree with restaurants and bakeries are only 1.5 km away.

Tips

  • Water fun with our lovely dogs in the pond! They are always there and love to play with children!

  • Spot the game from the deck early in the morning or late at night. Already spotted: tawny owls, roe deer, heron.
