You can camp here in a quietly located meadow on the edge of a forest in which there is a frog pond (total surface area of the site is 1.5ha). Behind the forest is a stream in which the children can search for the hidden "water life". Nearby are several walking and cycling paths.
A watermill on the Kleine Nete is 500 meters away. There you can rent a kayak with which you can sail down the Kleine Nete to Grobbendonk (transport back to the Watermolen can be arranged). The children's walk "het Hekselienpad" also starts there. the road over bridges and meadows. The hidden swamp takes you deep into the forest, all the way to the witch's play area).
The Prinsenpark is 1 km away with signposted hiking trails for young and old.
There is a covered area (stable) on the site, with a picnic bench. It also contains a sink with running water (not drinkable) and a refrigerator. There are two jerry cans with drinkable water. In addition, there is a separate (flush) toilet and a solar shower (warm water in sunny weather).
In the forest the children can play freely and wood can be gathered for the campfire. There is a grid provided, so that you can bake and roast over the campfire.
On the other side of the village are the Familiestrand and the Berkenstrand (swimming and rowing pond).

Nice, quiet camping spot with a beautiful forest and beautiful pond. The semi-open barn is an enormous added value.
Also handy that there is a separate, clean toilet. The only downside was the water from the artesian well. That smelled awful. Not ideal for washing dishes. But the owner does provide 2 large barrels with potable water.

How was the contact with the host?
Owner Guy is a very friendly and pleasant man.

Tips for new guests?
Just go and enjoy!

Very nice and quiet place where the host has provided all the basic facilities for camping! A good shower on a sunny day and a nice meal on the BBQ! In the covered stall it is wonderful to sit in the palette lounge in the evening and have breakfast in the morning sun. The forest at the back is fun for the kids to play in.

Super nice camper space. We had a wonderful men's weekend here. The place is equipped with everything you need and plenty of space. Tap water contains a lot of iron, so it cannot be drunk and also smells a bit. Guy provided us with drinking water in jerry cans. great service.

How was the contact with the host?
Guy is a fantastic hospitable host. Contact with him went very well. Checking in and out was very easy via telephone contact. After checking in, Hineven came by to see if everything is okay and to bring drinking water. Later there was a power outage. He also stopped by here to see if he could do anything for us while he had nothing to do with the power outage. Super sweet.

Tips for new guests?
Take your time to explore the forest behind the site and its surroundings.

Fantastic weekend in a great place!

Playing in the woods, enjoying the sun and a campfire. The camping pitch has all the luxuries you don't want to carry around: toilet (flush with groundwater), solar shower (really warm enough!) refrigerator, running groundwater several liters of drinking water in water bottles and a cozy sitting area under the lean-to.

Great weekend!

How was the contact with the host?
Guy answered all our questions in advance: friendly, clear and fast! Shortly after arriving he came to say hello. Great host!

Tips for new guests?
We did a kayak trip, which depart nearby... very nice...

Tell us about your experience
You can enjoy the Belgian nature in a beautiful spot. You can set up your camping equipment in different places. For example, you can place it at the pond, so you have a beautiful view during your camping meal.
The only disturber of your privacy are the horses from the nearby stable ;). Furthermore, you can enjoy total tranquility.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. I had a digital answer within an hour and everything was arranged. Once on location, the host was very helpful and pleasant. A very good experience.
