This Campspace is located on the edge of the Zwaakse Weel and on 'Het Grenslandpad' Long Distance Walking Route (LAW) 11. It is one of the largest nature reserves in the Zak van Zuid-Beveland, province of Zeeland, the Netherlands. One can enjoy the diversity in the landscape. Such as a wide creek, the butterfly idyll, fields with old standard fruit trees. The information center of nature monuments is nearby and the steam train track is about 1 km away. (Langewijje station about 2 km). Tropical Zoo at 2.5 km. In short, there is plenty to do in addition to enjoying the peace and nature.

Hello, My name is Monique. I want to share my lovely place near nature reserve 'de Zwaakse weel' with people who appreciate peace and space. I am active as a physiotherapist in a Hospital near by. In my spare time I love basic outdoor activities, like some survivalskill and outdoor cooking. So I made it possible to do those activities in my backyard. Then I thought..... it is even more fun when other people can enjoy themselves also overhere. The dream came true. Dear gast you are absolutely welcome to stay and enjoy yourself.

It is best summarized as small but nice. It's a wonderfully peaceful base to just hang out for a bit, go for a walk in the area, or use as a base to explore the area.
How was the contact with the host?
Monique was clear and easily accessible. Her parents were there during our stay and stopped by a few times to ask how things were going, and if we needed anything, which was very friendly and pleasant.
Tips for new guests?
Don't bring too big a tent. We had to stand on another field due to other guests who were not so tidy, where our (admittedly quite large) tent barely fit. Discuss with Monique how many guests there are already and whether there will still be room on the larger field.

Lovely 3 nights camping with Monique. Beautiful surroundings, with a perfect spot next to a fruit orchard with cozy sheep. It was nice and quiet, we could light a fire and the sanitary facilities were clean. You wake up quickly from the cold shower ;)

Unfortunately, due to private circumstances, I did not see Monique during my visit. We did have nice contact via campspace messenger.
Nothing but praise for the camping spot. What a very attractive spot has been created there. Up to the hiker's cabin and the wet room top. You know in advance that you don't have hot water, so you shouldn't complain about that. The location on the old orchard and the nature reserve makes it complete. Recommended!

We have had a very nice stay at Monique. The title of her Campspace actually summarizes it very well: "Feel welcome to enjoy the basic camplife". We already felt very welcome. The landlady is a very friendly hostess who has created a very nice place to unwind. It is indeed a basic campsite with only a toilet, a socket, a sink, and a (cold) shower, but all very well maintained and indicated in the description. The assets of this campsite are the hospitality of the owner, the idyllic setting (small lake nearby, right next to a meadow with sheep) and the layout of the campsite (secluded, campfire, very well maintained, charming and authentic, ...). We would definitely recommend this place!

After a beautiful bike ride through unique paths and fruit trees, we arrived at this Campspace. The rest of our stay was even idyllic as the route getting there. After a garden tour by our lovely and welcoming host we picked a spot to set up our tent. We picked a spot in the back of the yard, because this would give us the farthest views. There is also a wooden hut where you can also sleep. Also a lovely place to sleep and wake up with a direct view on the huge fruit tree. The garden is right next to a grassland which you can reach through the wooden stairs. You can walk right between the sheep and their lambs. On the backside of the grassland you find an amazing walking route. Through quiet roads you can reach the little villages nearby. Here you also find supermarkets, restaurants and terraces. In the evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and of course a campfire. We really came to peace at this Campspace and will certainly visit again!

We are very satisfied with our stay at the Pimpernoot. A wonderfully quiet spot, with sheep in the background. We could use the fire pit, there was even wood ready for us. Also nice to use the shower bag, we hung it on the tree. Reception was warm, everything was well taken care of.

De Pimpernoot is a beautifully designed campsite in a quiet location with a shelter and campfire area. The basic sanitary is fine and very clean. Good starting point to discover the Zak van Zuid-Beveland by bike and on foot. Just lovely there!

Monique was extremely friendly and an amazing host - my wife and I (as well as our little dog) absolutely loved her camp! The basic facilities that are there are very well kept and one can immediately see that Monique is very passionate about her garden and the surrounding nature. We also really appreciated the fact that she kept the number of visitors low (we were the only ones in the camp) during these COVID-19 times. We will surely come back!
