Magical garden, view, animals. Very nice and calming campsite. Close to some sightseeing stuff and even the village is nice to stroll around and see some historical things.

How was the contact with the host?
Very nice, helpful and always welcoming.

Tips for new guests?
Just come and see for your self.

Especially very messy, company not really working.
Was just along the road quite noise from many passing cars.
Also far too expensive for the facilities, electricity is a socket in the so-called kitchen.

How was the contact with the host?
Only welcomed on arrival and received an explanation

Tips for new guests?
Sorry I wouldn't recommend this unless you really like basic. Indicate a view of the Mont Saint Michel, you do need good binoculars for that.

All feedback is valuable so thank you Yvonne and Im pleased to know you will not be coming back. Did you know we suffered a drought again this year so when it rained it was good to see the green and respectful not to cut it all down straight away, is this the messiness you are referring to Yvonne? Or is it the 50year old glasshouse in a state of renovation that bothered you so much?

BTW We dont have a kitchen, we have a 'vestiaire' or changing room (its written on the door) and the lack of electrical points is purposeful to encourage other activites and is free to those who wish to charge their phones but not their enormous powerbanks. This may be the intentional simplicity you were referring to? There are reasons I take only small camper vans and not camping buses like yours on this small edibly landscaped microfarm (compaction of soil, unsightliness for other campers, expectations as big as their vehicles...) and it was totally my mistake making an exception saying yes to you. Thankyou again for giving me clarity and enjoy yourself as best you can Yvonne. Just to note most people cannot read minds so if you require, need, want more information I recommend simply asking a question.

Zoë's campsite is an amazing mosaic of different places, nooks and crannies to set up your tent. Very fun to explore and experience the art works, animals (ducks, pig, dogs), and of course the great view of Le Mont Saint Michel.

How was the contact with the host?
Zoë was a great host: very kind and helpful. And happy to help in coffee emergencies. ;)

Tips for new guests?
I visited near/in the off-season, but in-season a lot of activities/workshops are organized, which seemed interesting.

Great location with a stunning view and beautiful garden. The space for pitching a tent is large. Zoë offered a nice warm shower, and a roof with a fridge and charging opportunities. The dry toilets are fabulous.

How was the contact with the host?
Zoë is welcoming and explains the rules clearly. WhatsApp contact didn’t seem to work for us, but other campers said that they had no issues keeping in contact.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the hosts are very friendly. They are there for you when you need them, but also let you freely enjoy their beautiful place with a view of the Mont Saint Michel and of course everything that grows and blooms around you. You have a lot of space in your own place. I also enjoyed the animals that occasionally cross your path. They live in a paradise and are used to people around them. It doesn't bother you, but it does make you feel good.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. The hosts also speak English and can provide you with good information about the area and how/when you can best visit Mont Saint Michel, for example.

Tips for new guests?
I was there way too short and will definitely come back in the future. I took advantage of breakfast and that was highly recommended!

If you like the basics for camping this is great. This big garden has ducks walking past your tent during the day, a pig chilling under a tree ...
Great view on the Mont Saint Michel. Shops within walking distance. Avranches is a great city to wander around in the late evening.

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly hosts, they shared a lot of tips for things to visit in the area. Communication via campspace got used quick.

Tips for new guests?
You can't park your car next to your tent. But parking space is not far from the campground.
Only 1 shower, so be patient.

Scout Janna About the scout program

Tell us about your experience
This is truly a dream place! It is a fantastic large garden, which the owner makes "PowerSalads": everything in the garden is edible. The garden provides edible products all year round: from vegetables to flowers and herbs. Of course you also get to taste such a delicious salad! The garden has a beautiful view (on Le Mont Saint Michel) and is a lovely place to stay for a night or more. It is also a wonderful place for children to play: enough space for games, a swing and there are various animals: a pig, dog, chickens and ducks. All in all, a very strong recommendation!

How was the contact with the host?
The host is very friendly and speaks fluent English. She is happy to tell you all about her garden and the salads she makes. She also takes sustainability and organic production into account in everything.

Tips for new guests?
Take a walk through the garden, taste the salad and let the host tell you everything about the garden and the salads.

Fantastic place, piece of paradise on earth!
With our small bus camper we were allowed to maneuver at the top of the site to a small space under a tree. Beautiful view, wonderfully in the middle of the natural between the most beautiful flowers, plants and cozy ducks :-) . Zoe also made us a delicious pasta with power salad, highly recommended this place!

Very nice location but unfortunately not accessible with a camper. Campers are in a small parking lot along the street, not great. For tents, it's perfect. Very basic but clean sanitary facilities.

How was the contact with the host?

The campspace was nice. Zoe answered quickly and confirmed the stay. The location is cool, they have a permaculture farm and have an awesome view on Mont St. Michel - the drive there takes around 30 minutes. However, we were traveling with a camping van and an additional tent, and her property is not suited to drive on by car and I guess she would also prefer guests to not do it. So I wouldn't recommend going there if you travel with a camping van. If you travel by bike or with a normal car then it is no problem as you can find a really nice place to put up your tent and leave your car on the parking place. But still, it was a nice stay and definitely an interesting farm to visit.
