Reserve the pond and the 32 ares of land just for you, your group, family and/or couple. A life-size private experience.

All this on the outskirts of the village, you will have the forest at your fingertips while having easy access to the village, if necessary we are available quickly because we live nearby.

This space, composed of large trees, pond and a beautiful grassy central part will allow you to rest in the sun or in the shade according to your desires.

Our garden touches the property of the pond, you will have the opportunity to see our herd of goats and our horse. This is why we prefer not to welcome your dogs.

Shops in the village:

-Two organic stores (vegetables, cereals, organic products)
- a fish shop (fish, artisanal smoked salmon, also a producer of escaveche la Madeleine) - a butcher's shop
- two bakeries
- a restaurant,
- a chip shop

In good weather, there are also two sun loungers to enjoy the sun by the 10ares pond.

Tucked away in a picturesque town, this place feels a bit like wild camping. Basic facilities are available, but the main asset is the peace and quiet, the setting sun between the trees and the fact that you are all alone here.

How was the contact with the host?
Romain responds very quickly to bookings and is easily accessible. He comes to say hello and ask if you need anything, then he leaves you alone and you can always reach him by phone. Friendly reception!

Tips for new guests?
Be sure to try one of Romain's walking routes. Or use an app like Komoot to explore the beautiful surroundings. The garden is a great starting point and in 5 minutes you are in the 'center' of the town.

Dear Romain and Delphine,

We loved to stay in your beautiful garden. We had the complete garden for ourselves. Every morning we woke up, watching the squirls in the trees and the nuthatch feeding its youngs.

We made a fire every evening, from the woodblocks that were available (as it was quite cold at night). It was very cozy and the place is beautiful!
We cycled the routes that you advised, thank you!

How was the contact with the host?
The contact was perfect. We talked slowly and sometimes with hand and feed. We learned some sailing knots to hang the hammock and you provided a bicycle pump, that we forgot to bring :D

Tips for new guests?
Definitely go here! Prepare yourself for a cold shower ;) but also for the most beautiful place fully for yourselves and bring your bicycle! Having a mountainbike here would be the best, but a roadbike also works if you don't mind a walk now and then :)

wonderful campsite, best ever, so green, quiet, many birds and wildlife, nearly no musquitos because little bats ate them at night, we heard a big owl nearby, we loved the campfire, a real nature lovers campsite, nice chairs, and mini kitchen facilities, we did not miss the hot shower, this camping has the greatest outdoor shower ever, closer to nature you don't get, great hiking and bike trails just from the campsite, great small baker in the village! lots to see and do in the area, spectacular rocks and caves, couvain is a nice city, driving near the muse was great with all the greens and rocks and wild flowers, every village in vallois center has boards with routes going from there by hiking or biking

How was the contact with the host?
very good, friendly, helpful, nice directions to routes, markets and they had nice facilities such as dishwashing stuff, a little refriderator, water boiler, a pan, nice chairs also for lying, free wood for the campfire, the kids loved the little goats, a nice wood stove on which you can cook and a nice grill so you would not need to bring your own barbeque

Tips for new guests?
this campsite is perfect for nature lovers that do not need luxury and white tiled toilet facilities, we loved to be back to nature and experience the quietness and many birds and wildlife, the kids loved to play with the pond and catch frogs and bugs, climb the trees, good butcher and super nice small bakery nearby (just 1km walk) for the best bread, pizza and pastry, from the olloy center near the church you can find many routes and the routes nearby at the first village to your left in nimes were super, we walked them all even with small children, do bring food, there is no terras or ice cream nearby, it is not very touristic, so just go by a backer in the morning and bring your drinks and you are fine the whole day. driving near the muse (maas) is fantastic from givet to downwards

My first experience with Campspace and an instant hit! Beautiful location with everything I needed nearby (electricity, toilet, sink with kettle to wash myself, fridge). A nice big place on the pond. In the evening I was allowed to light the fire to warm myself.
This delightful camping site is also perfectly located in a very beautiful region. I could keep walking there :-)

How was the contact with the host?
Romain and Delphine are very friendly and helpful. I had a little trouble finding the domain but luckily Romain was available via mobile.

very nice experience, beautiful meadow with sufficient space and privacy. we were there in winter and there was more than enough firewood for us to use.
there is a cubicle with toilet, and a kettle is available. ideal for our needs.

a nice place close to nature.

How was the contact with the host?
Romain's Dutch is comparable to my French, but together we certainly managed to figure it out.
small problem with the toilet was immediately solved by Romain. great guy who welcomed us nicely.

Tips for new guests?
in winter the first part of the meadow is quite swampy, we couldn't get on it by car.
