Welcome to our winery overlooking the vineyards
Directly at our privately situated, idyllically located Bonnheimer Hof we have several mobile home parking spaces ready for you. Our winery is beautifully situated between the vineyards. If you need electricity, there is enough space for you on the paved square behind the courtyard. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities with warm showers, drinking water and toilets provide the necessary comfort.
(Culinary) adventure tour for young and old
Sit in the inner courtyard and relax and enjoy a glass of Riesling from the family winery Lorenz & Söhne, along with a regional delicacy from our kitchen - this is how we define quality of life in the Bonnheimer Hof - a unique location. The historic building in the middle of vineyards, pastures and fields exudes a special atmosphere. Goats, llamas, horses, fallow deer and of course our Scottish highland cattle invite you to watch, pet and linger - a paradise especially for children. Around the farm there are many animal enclosures and vineyards in connection. Here you can hike and enjoy nature. Hike in the adjacent vineyards and take beautiful bike tours to and around Hackenheim and Bad Kreuznach.
Pro tip: You can taste our wines from our family winery Lorenz & Sons and enjoy them at farm prices on your onward journey or at home.

Beautiful wine farm between the fields. We were in the parking lot but with a view. Nice meal in the courtyard. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities.

The courtyard makes a very neat impression. This also includes an inn with a beer garden in the inner courtyard and a vinotheque. Around the yard are many animal enclosures and vineyards in connection. Here you can hike and enjoy nature.
If you need electricity you have to stand on the paved square behind the yard, if you don't need it you can stand anywhere you can find space.

A difficult one. I think the marketing is misleading. We anticipated a beautiful, small, sleep, family run vineyard with a handful of campervans or caravans. We arrived to something resembling a mini theme park. A stunning location but over commercialised-two functions going on with banging music, animal park with a lot of people visiting and possibly 40 campervans and/or caravans. No way is the vineyard set up to take 1/4 of that number. We had e mail communication over the days leading up to our 4 night stay and were reassured that grass and electricity would be sorted out.l for us. Impossible. To hook up would have meant literally being in a car park and the other option which was highly unattractive (a back yard with rusting cages) was too full anyway. We had paid in advance and were told we couldn’t get a refund because they hadn’t received any money as yet from Campspace. We researched alternatives but having driven for a full day we were just too tired to move again. A stressful evening. We stayed two nights on some grass as far away from the crowds as possible and without electricity. It promised so much but under delivered on a huge scale. Lovely local town to escape to with a spa that I would recommend.
How was the contact with the host?
Mediocre. Promising contact leading up to our stay. Nothing more than a very overwrought Duty Manager to try and juggle way too many things during our stay. A member of the family who own it as a presence would have been helpful I suspect.
Tips for new guests?
Be careful that you know what you are getting. It is not what it implied on the tin.

Hello Jew, thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit with us. This weekend the campers literally overran our. We have adjusted the number of parking spaces. We ask for apology. Kind regards Matthias Lorenz
