Trekking camp “Wildenbachtal”
The camp for hikers, bikers and adventurers!
enjoy sunrise. Breakfast with birdsong and a view of nature.
Sitting sociably around the fire - not on the campsite - but individually - alone, as a couple, with the family or a small group.
The course is hidden at the edge of the forest on a small hill in the Wildenbach valley at the foot of the Lemberg near Feilbingert. No residential building far and wide - but still accessible via a paved road.
The Schmittenstollen visitor mine (with restaurants) and the premium hiking trail “Vitaltour Mystery Lemberg” as well as the family hiking trail “Finding Lemi” are in the immediate vicinity. The managed Palatinate Forest "Lemberghütte" and the forest restaurant "Lembergblick" are within easy walking distance.
It is approx. 1km on foot/bike/car to the center of Feilbingert - with other restaurants, wineries, country and village shops, as well as butchers and other small shops.
The camp is located on the route of the panoramic trail not far from the "XXL Panorama Bank" viewing point on the Lemberg with an overwhelming view of the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park, the North Palatinate, Rheinhessen and the Rheingau.
It is approx. 500m to the European long-distance hiking trail E8 (Ireland - Bulgaria) or the "White Cross" of the Palatinate Forest Association - (Northern Palatinate - Northern Vosges).
It is only about 1 km to the start of the "Nahe-Glan Höhentour" cycle path.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful short break in this camp and escape from everyday city life. The hiking opportunities nearby are really great. Evening, nice bunny visits provided additional entertainment 🤗
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with Torsten was super nice, courteous and always prompt. Thanks! ☀️
Tips for new guests?
Taking the bus from the nearest train station didn't work so well for us, but I don't think it's the norm. But now we had more fun on the way back because we walked the route relaxed 😊
