Tiny house among the butterflies

About this campspace #s002402
Sleeping among the butterflies, watching moths with a glass of wine, having breakfast in the sea of flowers: it doesn't get much more fun! During spring and summer, the observatory can be rented for overnight stays, so you not only have all the time to make beautiful observations, but also make use of the observation equipment, games and microscopes. Taking a little care of the caterpillars and butterflies is certainly part of it! The site has several locations where you can eat in a sustainable and circular way. The observatory is an expedition trailer suitable for 2 people. This trailer has been specially designed and is ideal for outdoor living. outside the trailer there are also the butterfly breeding boxes! If there are caterpillars in this, you are expected to take care of this. How that should be explained of course! You can release butterflies that come out of their pupa. Of course there is no guarantee on caterpillars and butterflies, that's nature.

Meet Nicky, your host

The night in the butterfly garden was great. Previously I had email contact with Nicky and it went very well. He gave all kinds of tips and explained how we got there, how everything worked and what is fun to do. The Mot butterfly garden in Mokum is a very special place to spend the night in peace and surrounded by nature. When we arrived we spoke to the host Nicky and immediately had a very nice conversation about his garden. Nice to hear about his passion and how he set up everything himself! The observatory we slept in was neat, cozy, and a very creative place to sleep! We had a lot of fun in the garden and saw all kinds of beautiful butterflies and caterpillars. The (warm) outdoor shower in the middle of the garden made the experience complete. It was also nice to take a tour of the North Harvest site and meet the other initiators. We were made to feel very welcome!
