My fellow backpackers and couchsurfers, the experience of waking up on the water or watching the stars at night as you take your night-cap, there is no words to describe it. I am a solo sailor and would like to share the unique experience of sleeping on a classic 1960s sailboat with you. Enjoy the feel of a sailor's life on board a cosy, classic sailing boat over looking the Westerschelde. Situated in the Marina right in the heart of the protected historic centre of Vlissingen. It is one of the few sea Marinas in the Netherlands. It's center alone is home to around 300 listed monuments. Sip a cocktail on deck, watch the sunset, doze on the beach, swim in the waves, try some local food and drinks in any of the restaurants and bars on the terraces, find oysters by the beach or have a nightcap as you watch the stars on the deck! A unique stay!
