Tiny House
You are alone in my tiny house. There are no other campers, neighbors, or owners in the immediate vicinity. You look out over the beautiful Normandy countryside and it is completely dark at night. It is really enjoying the enormous peace and space. The cottage is simple: hot water, kitchenette, electricity, a compost toilet in the shed outside. The parking space is tarmac and easy to reach from the road over a tarmac country road to the cottage.
Directly from the house you can make beautiful walks through the area, or go cycling. Or visit Saint Mont Michel the beautiful monastery on an island in the bay, spend a day at the beach of Jullouville, or visit one of the many medieval towns: Domfront is close and very beautiful, Fougeres and Falaise with the castle and statue of William the Conqueror. On Friday morning there is a nice market in Vire and on Saturday morning Tinchebray. In Bayeux is the d-day museum and the famous tapestry.
Or visit the Omaha D-day beaches or take a day trip to the islands of Jernsey or Guernsey. In the beautiful city of Caen is the D-day museum and the famous castle.
