Nice place to camp. Quiet and secluded. For €5 you get a whole wheelbarrow full of wood to burn. There was also a cover so you can shelter in bad weather.
How was the contact with the host?
Good. Everything was clear and Corine was friendly.

It is a well-hidden, huge back yard surrounded with epic beauty: farm lands, woods, fruit trees, vegetables, bees, chickens, etc. I pitched a tent there with my 5yo. The bike routes to the venue we came from was also a blessing. The camp fire at night was a blast. Strongly recommended!
How was the contact with the host?
Corina was a very kind, approachable host. She was responsive to messages too. She helped us a lot. I am very thankful.
Tips for new guests?
Make sure to check out the hidden forest behind the tenting terrain. Don't forget to bring food to cook on the fire basket.

There was contact from the moment of booking. They answer my questions quickly and on the day of arrival I received a message that an envelope with more information could be found in the letterbox. The piece of land where I was allowed to stay was really fantastic. A nicely laid out fire pit, coziness of the chickens and sheep in the adjacent meadow. Even in the back of the forest I came across a family of foxes with little foxes! Very funny!
It was nice that there was a good toilet, I could charge my phone and there was also a kettle.
All in all a very nice place.
How was the contact with the host?
Good, clear, helpful and fast
Tips for new guests?
Enjoy!

Wonderful to spend a night in the beautiful garden of Corine and Bartjan. Because the garden is so large and surrounded by extensive nature, it really resembles wild camping. Yet it is fully equipped, such as a toilet, running water (incl. jerry can), several places to make a fire, chairs, benches and a table. Everything grows in the garden and you can stroll around among the plants and fruit trees. There is a vegetable garden with mint and various herbs that we were allowed to pick. A rooster, chickens and bees are kept in the back of the garden. You can even try archery there (please consult). A little further you walk between the trees with water on both sides. You have your own entrance to the garden and because of its size you have a lot of privacy. Corine and Bartjan are lovely hosts. They are very helpful and radiate tremendous calm. Their dog may pass by once; this one is very sweet and won't do anything without permission. Corine came by with fresh eggs, that was very nice! There is a wheelbarrow with enough wood, firelighters and matches to make a nice fire in the evening. There is also a barbecue. At the beginning of the garden is the green dike. In the area you can enjoy walking and cycling.

There were 4 of us and we stayed for 2 nights. It was a really lovely spot and Corine and her husband were fantastic.
It was really nice to have the place for ourselves, and we even got a vegetable box straight from their own garden. We felt right in nature, which was a welcome change from Amsterdam.
The only shame were all the mosquitoes, but this was due to the unusually heavy rain in the weeks before, and they usually stayed only during dusk, and the campfire helped keep them away.
How was the contact with the host?
Perfect!
Tips for new guests?
Mosquito repellent!

Very nice place to stay overnight.
Really among the wild flowers.
We were allowed to pitch our tent wherever we wanted and then relax after a long walk.
Enjoy the campfire with the song of many birds in the background.
In the morning we relaxed baked our sandwiches at the campfire, before we continued walking.
How was the contact with the host?
Very nice!
Received a quick response to our booking (as we booked quite late), so that we could determine our route.
On arrival everything was clearly explained and we were given a jerry can with water.
Put wood for the campfire in a wheelbarrow and got tips for a nice route.
Very nice place!
Thank you Corine and Bart Jan for your hospitality
Tips for new guests?
Enjoy…
Oh and check in advance whether the ferry sails to Heerewaarden.
Fortunately Corine informed us before our arrival that it was not sailing on our day.

The elongated garden was inviting, between the fruit trees, vegetable garden, chickens and beehives it was a self-sufficient world.
