About this campspace
We would like to invite travellers to our little community set deep in the mountains of Alentejo.
We have plenty of spaces for van parking and also welcome tents (please bring your
own cooking facilities).
We offer our humble but beautiful facilities - compost toilet, warm shower and electrical hook-ups. Filtered drinking water is available to purchase. You can be involved much as you'd like in our community activities such as music, yoga , food, moon circles and cosy winter campfires. You are also welcome to enjoy your privacy and the peace of nature you can experience here including a swim in our beautiful river. During the summer the river gets low but our little turquoise lagoon remains glorious to bathe in.
The nearest town is Almodovar (40 mins) with a great morning market with fresh fruit and veggies. The beaches or the Algarve are just over an hour from here. This is a very rural and raw area of Portugal and so perfect for a unique and authentic cultural experience. Languages English (main) and Dutch.
Children and animals welcome.
We have 1 friendly and free dog on site.

We are completely off-grid with our electricity and water. We recycle and re use as much as we can. This means food waste, human toilet waste, eggs, coffee for the garden.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
We have a peaceful healing environment here and would therefore appreciate quiet between the hours of 8am-10pm. Dogs are welcome to sleep outside but must be quiet during the night.
We tolerate respectful consumption of alcohol only as we are only occassional alcohol-drinkers. As our water runs off onto the land and some onto vegetabler gardens, please use natural cleaning products (soap, shampoo, washing liquid) only. If you require some please contact me for purchase.
