You will feel like a happy cataract in the star hotel. 3 star hotels have been left on Byens Torv. A star hotel is a kind of modern shelter where you can spend the night upstairs and relax downstairs. The star hotel measures 2.10 mx 2.10 m and is about 4.20 m high. Next to the star hotels, there is a toilet and a kitchenette, as well as an outdoor shower so that tourists and guests can have a comfortable stay.

My daughter of 4 and I spent the night in star box number 1. It is by the way the last to get sun, evening and morning. The facilities were as described and we had a really nice overnight stay. It was my daughter who spotted the place on the net and she spent no less than half an hour praising every detail of the place upon our arrival :)

It was a cozy place with beautiful nature around us and multi-lane, if you have children with you. Nice with closed shelter when you are not used to sleeping in the open air. We also enjoyed that there was a toilet and a small kitchen with kettle.
Super nice for a single night 👍 much better and easier than sleeping in a tent. Shelter was also nicely furnished 😊

Very nice shelter with good facilities and opportunities for activities.
The area is cared for and nurtured and seems very inviting.
Short distance across the border and to Noldes Museum and beautiful garden. Nice and cheap lunch in the café by the museum.
It can all be clearly recommended and would be happy to visit again.

This is the second time we are staying in Sæd at Stærehotellet. It is just some small cozy cabins that are possible to make a fire, so you can toast a sausage etc. There is a toilet and shower as well as a small kitchen on the square, it is definitely a big +.
Would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a really nice overnight stay, despite the bad weather but then it was nice to be able to sit inside. Cozy little village with playground close to the star hotel.
The only minus about the place is that it pulls from the windows up on the loft, and that it could be nice with a railing up on the loft, so it was safer for the one who was outermost.

3 lovely luxury shelters with access to a real toilet and a small kitchen with hob and kettle.
There is a multi-lane right next to the shelters, so if you want peace, this is probably not the place to go.
But super beautiful surroundings with the possibility of both football, basketball, krolf, ladder golf and outdoor chess. There is also a petanque court with accompanying balls (but these were unfortunately rusty and full of animals, as they have probably been out all winter) so bring your own.
We struggled with drafts from the window you sleep under, but you can hope it will be made. At least it is uncomfortable with drafts.
We would like to come again, a wonderful place.

Lovely luxury shelter, with accessible small kitchen, with sink, a hob and kettle that is not hot water. Nice and clean toilet. We used ladder golf, you can also play krolf, or use the ball field + make a fire.
In the evening we lit candles and had fun with cards.
The star hotel is definitely only for 2 people and the sleeping space upstairs is a bit cramped. A barrier at the stairs could be desired, so that the outermost person does not have to be nervous about falling down.

It was a nice and cozy shelter, but not a place we will return to. Unfortunately we had not paid enough attention to the location before we booked and we were therefore badly disappointed. If you are into nature, Stærehotellet is not the right place.

It's a nice place not only starling hotel for us humans, but there are so many starling boxes up there, so it's a starling hotel too.
It is nice with a toilet and a small kitchenette. Especially when we were away in a really cold and windy weather.
Unfortunately, the windows were a bit leaky, which we clearly felt in the very windy weather.
We will definitely pass by another time again, whore there is hopefully better weather.

It was simply a nice and beautiful place. The place is for children, young people and adults alike. It is fine and has almost all facilities with access to a small kitchen, shower and toilet.
We had small battery-powered spotlights which gave a really good atmosphere, ate breakfast on the terrace which you can all the way around.
Can highly recommend the place

My stay in Stærehotellet was absolutely perfect. I would like to stay in shelters in connection with Easter and be sure to get a place. I therefore booked 2 nights at Hejcamp. The star houses are so nice with room for 2 people on the loft and table and 2 chairs on the "ground floor"
In one house on the square there is a nice toilet and a small kitchen with kettle and hob. On the square there is lively activity, the local young people play ball on the multi-court. It is possible to play giant chess. At the campfire site, I had a chat with a couple of locals, who were sitting and enjoying themselves by the fire.
It's just a mega cool place.

The shelter was really nice and well maintained. Super nice with table and chairs inside for when it rained.
The campfire site is close by and was really nice. Absolutely perfect with a grate if you have to cook over a fire.
There was a kitchen, shower and toilet, which is a luxury.
A great experience, I will be back again this summer!

Stærehotellet in Sæd can be highly recommended for those who want to experience nature by the Wadden Sea (it is only a 20 minute drive to Højer Sluse). The cabins are very well furnished with seating and a cafe table at the bottom as well as a sleeping area with ample space for two people at the top. In addition, a fantastic view of both sunrise and sunset awaits at the top, as the windows are in an easterly and westerly direction.
If you want to cook, there is a good opportunity for it in a well-equipped kitchen, just as there is a nice and clean toilet with soap and paper :-)
The cabins are really nicely made and keep the heat well - we certainly did not freeze :-)
