Spend the night in a vintage caravan

About this campspace #s001897
** Winter facilities: campfire, hot water, hot shower, shelter, covered kitchen and heating in accommodation **
Our caravan is almost impossible to find, wrapped in firewood, a roof above it, a veranda to enjoy the evening, the morning and the campfire. Pull a cool bottle out of the fridge, what more could a person want - well, there isn't much left either.
Although, the breakfast served on the spot is not to be sneezed at, as it is called, fresh rolls, eggs to your liking, espresso / cappuccino, tea (no bag, that speaks), hot chocolate (no warmed chocolate, that speaks). orange juice (no explanation necessary), cold cuts, jams, cheese and if you happen to be vegan or ovovivi-pair, so it goes.
You can also have dinner ... for € 15.00.

Meet Alexander, your host

I run a platform of webshops for food and drinks (needless to say: fine food and..) take care of my mother, living in a tiny house in the garden and lots of other things.
Apart from camping with a tent or mobile anything you can stay in the prehistoric caravan and in the shed. Where we also have other facilities.
Strive to be remembered for hospitality.

This Campspace was great! Beautiful grounds and a relaxed atmosphere. Delicious breakfast (and coffee!). Next to the river Lek with a beach at a few minutes walk, so nice possibility to swim and cool off. Sleep at night with the calming sound of birds, cows, sheep, and the trees that rustle. The caravan was a bit too hot to sleep in during the heatwave (in combination with many mosquitoes), so we set up our own tent to spend the nights. Lex is a super nice host who doesn't bother about anything and cooks deliciously. Really recommended!
From the moment we approached the dyke we immediately felt relaxed; what a beautiful surrounding! While enjoying our welcome drink our host told us very enthusiastically about his Campspace and his own camping experiences. Afterwards, we took a tour through the wide and green garden. This Campspace has a few options; set up your own tent, spend the night in a already set-up tipi, caravan or wooden mancave. We decided to set up our own tent, which was hard to choose because there are so many beautiful spots. We picked a spot all the way in the back surrounded by trees and next to a little creek. From this spot you have a beautiful view overlooking the fields. The rest of the day we started a fire and cooking some delicious food. There are plenty of options to cook, from open fire to brick oven. Also, the host loves to cook so we let them surprise us. Until late in the evening we enjoyed the coziness. The next morning we went for a run; so many beautiful paths towards cute little villages. The well-deserved shower overlooks the garden, how nice?! Afterwards, we enjoyed breakfast in the sun and in the afternoon we even went canoeing on the nearby river de Lek. In short; we really enjoyed our time here and had some good laughs. We will definitely come to back!
