Meet Lutgarde, your host
Avid campers themselves.
We enjoy getting to know other people and opening our garden and swimming pool to campers.
And in the evening, have a drink by a cozy campfire.

"As our first experience with Campspace, we couldn't desire better. Lut and Frans are amazing people that make you feel immediately welcome. We had the fantastic opportunity to use their garden without other campers - this means having the luxury of using a 28 degrees pool all for yourself, relaxing swinging in the super comfy hammock and having private use of the bathroom downstairs. In the evening we could make use of the fire pit, where it was also possible to make a BBQ for ourselves.
Moreover, we also got some fresh veggies just picked up from their garden, what a treat!"

After a warm welcome by the host we set up our tent in the lovely garden under the trees. Right away we enjoyed the outside pool and read a book swinging in a hammock. High up in the trees you will find a small survival course, so cool! Down the street there is also a forest, which we walked through in the afternoon. When we came back we started the campfire and cooked on the available stove. Until late at night we sat by the fire and chatted to the hosts and other campers. The morning was just as nice, the house has a beautiful bathroom with a large window that views over the garden. There is also a bakery on walking distance with delicious breads. We really came to peace at this lovely spot!
Camping at Frans en Lut is like "coming home". A nice drink is ready, a cup of coffee for breakfast. Frans and Lut are ready to advise and act to make their guests as pleasant as possible. Even animation has been thought of with a campfire and ropes course. And of course there is the swimming pool as an extra asset. In our opinion an (h-) fair experience!

Brilliant house, brilliant host. Lut and her husband were very accommodating. Nice quiet area with lots of woodland to explore and a nearby village with Saturday market. We were so blessed by their hospitality and fresh produce from their garden. Their swimming pool is brilliant for our boys. Upon arrival, they greeted us with nice home-brew tea. Highly recommended this place.

We had a super nice experience! The hosts were very hospitable. It was a very warm welcome with cozy chats, a campfire, a coffee in the morning, tasty soup, extra blankets when we were cold etc… In short, the host did everything to make us feel at home and let us experience a good time! Recommended!

We were very well received by Frans and Lutgarde. They immediately made time to explain everything. The garden is large enough, and the children had a good time, especially with the pool and swings. There was a separate shower and toilet for Campspace users. We had a delicious barbecue and afterwards roasted marshmallows on the campfire. We will definitely do it again.

We had a great stay with host Lutgarde in Stekene. They are really lovely and hospitable people that give you all the privacy you need but are also always there if you have questions. Lutgarde really took care of us and the location had everything we needed: tent space under the trees, hammock, great pool and private bathroom. The neighbourhood is residential, so for restaurants or bars you'll need a car or it's about 40min walk minimum.
