About this campspace

Our shelter is located in an isolated corner of our large garden, where guests have peace and quiet to enjoy their stay - there is a small fire pit, campfire site, barbecue, access to water, camping toilet ........
Vest-Møn is a landscape very beautiful, historically very exciting and socially very attractive area. The atmosphere is hospitable.
In many places there are glimpses of the sea which creeps into bays and fjords and flashes to us; here are soft hills, fields with hedges, forests with diverse nature.
From our place: In walking and cycling distance you can reach sights such as 1) Fanefjord Church, which contains an internationally famous treasure of frescoes and from the cemetery has a view of the very beautiful small fjord, 2) And in the immediate vicinity of the church is Grønsalen, also called Grønjægers Høj or Grønjæger og Fanes Sal, a legendary, more than 100 meters long long dolmen, built 3,500 years ago. From here you can get to Hårbølle Harbor with cafe and boat harbor and a lovely beach. Or you can choose the other way and go to the small village Hårbølle with Hårbøllehuset, which offers both a café and regular fine exhibitions.
There are opportunities to visit galleries and craft workshops. Fanefjord Skov is rightly famous, and here too you can quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger in Fanefjord Skovpavillion.
In the opposite direction, near our shelter, are two other pagan sights, the mighty burial mounds, Klekkendehøj (from here you can hear nightingales and see two of the Møn landscape's bridges) and Kong Asgers Høj, both restored and open for visits. A little further away, in the direction of Stege, is Damsholte with a very nice rococo church, and Møn Football Golf. If you turn your nose in the opposite direction, towards the Farø bridges, you can take a ferry across Grønsund to Falster / Stubbekøbing on Bogø. By Bogø harbor is a 'real' Italian pizzaria and bakery!
There is also a pizzeria in Damme / Askeby, where the well-stocked supermarket, Daglig-brugsen, is also located. Here you can shop; there are also small farm shops and roadside stalls around, and flea markets.
This was just a selection of what our part of Møn has to offer, and then we have not even mentioned the mighty sky, which is worth looking at, even at night.

Welcome!
