We followed our dream and moved to start a campsite. It has become a very nice place, where we enjoy working! In addition to large camping spots, we also have special accommodations that we often create ourselves.
We have 2 children ourselves and offer a child-friendly environment, where we leave plenty of room for self-discovery.

Wonderful campsite with beautiful places, clean sanitary facilities and beautiful details. We stayed here for three nights with our children (5 and 7) and would have liked to stay longer. There is a lot to do in the area and the campsite itself is also very pleasant. Highly recommended!!

You wouldn't tell if you drive onto the main road of Haulerwijk that there is a campsite hidden somewhere along that row of houses. But soon you will see the campsite appear when you drive up the driveway and continue to a large lawn with accommodation here and there. Miranda received us warmly and told us extensively about the various nice retro accommodations on the site, but also about the many standing areas for tents / campers and caravans. The campsite is fully equipped, there is sanitary facilities and the possibility to book private sanitary facilities. There is a shelter when it rains, the possibility to light your own fire and a tea house where you can have a drink or cup of tea. Occasionally you can also join the table and a real three-course menu will be cooked for you. We arrived late afternoon and immediately felt at ease. We took a drink from the fridge of the tea house and settled in front of our camper to enjoy the peace and the many birds you hear singing. In the morning we were awakened again by the birds, after a short walk on the grounds and a cup of coffee at the fish pond, we had breakfast again in front of our camper and warmed ourselves in the sun. One night is too short to stand here, we said to each other. If we had no other plans, we would stick to it for another night to discover more of the area.
How was the contact with the host?
Miranda received us hospitably and gave us an extensive tour of the grounds. During our stay we were able to reach her quickly if necessary. The contact went smoothly.
Tips for new guests?
Be awakened by the birds in the early morning and watch the sun rise. Drink a cup of coffee by the pond and if you are lucky you will see a fish swimming by.
There is plenty to do in the area, in the tea house there are more than enough brochures to choose a fun activity. But if you come for the peace and space, then you're at the right place at the campsite.

What a nice review! Thank you! Glad you had a good time and we liked you too ;). Come back again, for example to visit the huge flea market in Bakkeveen, to view Veenhuizen or the Fochteloerveen. I look forward to seeing you!
