About this campspace

Hidden on the edge of the vresselse forest, where the squirrels clamber high into the trees, the hawks fly overhead and you are awakened by countless beautiful songbirds, you will find our beautiful safari tent. Do you want to completely unwind and slow down? Then this is the place for you.
The tent, which is heated by a wood stove, is located on a piece of private forest, where you can become one with nature again. Here you will also find your private outdoor shower with a view of our own seepage water. You shower with groundwater. There is also a place here where you can do the dishes. We have a separate building for your private toilet. This is a compost toilet. For cooking there is a 4 burner gas stove. You can also use the BBQ or the Dutch oven to prepare your food over the fire. From the private forest you can walk straight into the vresselse bos, a nature reserve of 241 hectares with idyllic fens, heathland and varied forest. Here you will encounter the Scottish highlanders and wild ponies.
Because the accommodation is in the forest, there is no WiFi, electricity and running tap water. However, there are lamps on battery and solar energy. The stove can be used for a delicious cup of coffee or tea. We fill a stainless steel tank with drinking water.

    You can enjoy canoeing or kayaking on the Dommel. There is a boarding point in Sint-Oedenrode.

    You can make a campfire in the fire bowl, to cook above or to sit by. We do ask that you bring your own wood for this.
