We offer a camping spot on the edge of the forest in the green, quietly located in an orchard. There is a shelter for shelter or cooking, there is also electricity. A fire bowl and some wood are available, as is a picnic table. You can certainly use the swimming pond at the house in consultation with us, because it is adjacent to our terrace. There is a trampoline and toys for children. They can also enjoy themselves on the play mountains, pick flowers, climb in the trees or discover the forest.
Our garden is within walking distance of the Demer and 6 kilometers from the Abbey of Averbode where you can enjoy walking or cycling. Kayaking is possible on the Demer.
There is NO toilet at the back of the garden, during the day when we are home you can come inside to toilet, at night the forest can serve for emergencies.

What a lovely place to be in! We were allowed to pitch our tent on a separated patch of grass at the back of the large garden with a shelter, playground and trampoline nearby - our children loved it. I myself was a big fan of the swimming pond in which we were allowed to splash as a welcome relief.

How was the contact with the host?
Kathleen and Bart were super friendly and helpful.

Tips for new guests?
Non-human-shy cats around the tent, roosters crowing in the morning, drawing in the wilder part of the garden at the back: if you don't want any of these animals, it might be better to look for another garden.

Rules

You can swim, but it is not the intention to sit in the pond for hours when we are at home, because it is adjacent to our terrace. But a lot is possible by appointment!
Please do not leave toilet paper in the forest. A garbage bag is provided.
You can certainly put on some music, you sit there fairly quietly, but it is not the intention to play really loud music there.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
