Quiet camping in a beautiful orchard

About this campspace #s004597
Romping around, swimming, boating, looking for (frog) fish and salamanders, bird watching, lounging, brushing donkeys ... It's all possible on the 2 ha large domain Oerewoet. The domain offers 3 separate camping pitches. So keep in mind that you may be staying on the domain with 1 or 2 other families / bubbles. The camping pitches are a good distance from each other. Central is a communal outdoor kitchen, BBQ, shower, toilet and campfire place. The natural (swimming) pond is also communal. Those who wish can harvest fresh vegetables and berries in the large harvest garden for a small fee.
Important: As long as the Corona restrictions apply, only this camping site on the domain is open. As soon as it is allowed, the 2 other sites will also be opened.
The area is very quiet (occasionally a farmer and some fishermen who go fishing in a nearby fishing pond), but in the morning and in the evening you have natural noise pollution (early birds and croaking frogs).
Extras include a wood-fired sauna (20 euros for a session) and a guided walk with a donkey (10 euros for a 1-hour walk).
Within walking distance (2 km) is Averbode Bos en Heide, one of Flanders' largest and most beautiful nature reserves. The Demer trousers are also not far away.
Cultural and culinary bicycle trips possible to Aarschot, Diest, Zichem, Westerlo, ..
4 bicycles are available for free.
Pets can come along after discussion, in connection with the safety of our pets and the vulnerability of fauna and flora.
