We spent a last minute late summer night at the end of September camping with our teardrop mini caravan. A warm welcome from Lieve to show us where we were 'allowed' to stand and with an offer of walks/cycling tours in the area. We were completely alone and felt alone in the world and one with nature. If you have enough electricity connection and a toilet WITH water flush, it is 'heaven on earth' in your own country 💫

Lovely, peaceful environment. A meadow surrounded by trees and nature. And of course the stream.
Unfortunately, the stream is very enclosed by vegetation and a steep bank, making it not easily accessible.
I read in previous reviews about train and plane nuisance, I have not experienced that. Yes, you sometimes hear a train and around 10 o'clock some fighter jets take off, but they are gone in no time. As a point of improvement for the owner, I would upgrade the site a bit. Under which; distributes more water taps and power points on the fields and with a buried PE pipe, a number of posts with a tap and also distributes a power point over the field. I am afraid that at high temperatures, the current water point does not meet the salmonella requirements. Or just a solidly built sanitary building, because the toilet is also very primitive. (I didn't use it, as I have my own Port a Potti). In this way you also prevent that, as some people do, the greenery is used as sanitary facilities.
And another tip; Taking your rubbish, if you stand there for 7 days like me, is (was) a dirty intention. Place a residual waste container and, if necessary, request a disposal fee for waste.
Anyway, I can recommend this Campspace to everyone and maybe I will come back myself.

Our place by the creek was as described. Very harmonious.

In itself this is a great area! You can relax peacefully on the pitch all day long.
But if you want to do something and have bikes with you, like we did, you can drive about 30 minutes and walk along a beautiful lake. Unfortunately, you can't swim there, which isn't bad. Since you can cycle about 60 minutes and then come to a swimming lake.

We camped with two tents on a wide meadow next to the Warmbeek. That stream was rather fresh, which was perfect during the heat wave. It is a quiet spot with 360 degrees of nature, a swing rope over the stream, a fire bowl, a water pipe (groundwater) and a toilet in a wooden cubicle.

The most beautiful place to be in middle of nature. It has all you need. The small river next to the spot was very refreshing and our dogs loved to be in. We couldn't ask for more. Dog-friendly place, beautiful nature, fireplace, 100% privacy, small cold river, drinking water and toilet.
