About this campspace #s003576
Good morning, afternoon or evening.
Let me introduce to you: Ad Strik, retired, with a darling dog living in a quiet place in the French countryside.
All shops are located in two different villages, Duras and Monségur, each 7 km from here.
My relatively small site of 2,500 m² can accommodate one camper and one or two people. No children, no pets.
Power comes from an extension cord and drinking water from the garden hose. There are no more facilities.
There is a neighbor. He is kindness in person. I'd like to keep it that way, if you know what I mean. You will not be bothered by him, he rummages in his vegetable garden, enjoys the silence on his terrace (out of sight) and has his siesta.
The place is ideal as a base for day trips close to or a little further away. Bordeaux-Center, Périgueux-Center and Agen-Center are all 100 km away, as is Sarlat in the Périgord. Within this circle you will find hundreds of - often sleeping - French villages with their own architecture, terraces, weekly markets and their often beautiful views.
An excursion planner is ready for you, including a tour that takes you past many of the aforementioned villages. A tour through the various wine regions (Bordeaux, Bergerac, Entre 2 Mers, Médoc, Armagnac etc). A trip to Joséphine Baker's castle, the lady in her banana skirt. The dunes of Pila. The Bassin d'Arcachon. There is too much to mention.
Do you like to walk on the French country roads as wide as a Dutch cycle path? You can enjoy yourself here. You could of course also take a boat trip on the Canal du Midi (park the camper, take the boat). When the impressions become too overwhelming, one can also 'stay home' for a day and read a book or play a game of scrabble ..... Freedom, happiness.
What it costs you? Say and write 1 Euro per day for electricity and water. At the end of your stay you determine the value of the enjoyment and I am open to a 'tip'.
