Peace and Space, spend the night in our meadow between the ponies spot 3

About this campspace #s003705
Our farm is located in a quiet spot in Wenum, on the edge of Vaassen. Close to the Royal Domain, Paleis' t Loo, the Apenheul, beautiful cycling routes and within walking distance of the clog path. You can set up your tent with us in one of our meadows between the ponies. You can pick fresh mint in the garden for a nice cup of tea and we have fresh eggs from our chickens. You can make a fire in our fire pit or fire barrel. We have a barbecue and a pizza oven fired on wood. You can also play a game with us. We have various games, farmer's golf and curling. Of course you can also just enjoy nature. Every day you will see birds of prey here and if you are lucky the storks are in the pasture, or you will see an owl. Hares are here in the pasture and sometimes you see a group of deer in the twilight. I have not yet managed to spot, but the badger seems to pass by here very often. The fox too, which is why the chickens and our rabbit have to be kept under lock and key. The canal is within walking distance, you can cast a line here. We live on a gravel road, not a real thoroughfare. So if you choose Peace, Space and Respect for nature, then you have come to the right place.

Meet Jolanda, your host

Jolanda was extremely enthusiastic about us staying. She would have popped open the barbeque if it wasn’t raining. Her horses are very friendly, her garden gorgeous. We had some freshly picked mint tea and it was delicious. She allowed us to use the caravan to shelter from the wind and rain. It was my birthday, so it was amazing to spend a rainy afternoon playing boardgames and drinking tea in the warmth of the caravan. The warm shower helped too, as well as her advice on hiking places.

Very sweet hostess and you immediately feel at home. The air mattress was comfortable, but was cold. Easy fix with an extra blanket. Within cycling distance of beautiful places, such as the Kroondomein.
The contact with the host was very nice. Cosy, spontaneous, and hospitable people. Also the service. The place was great, still under construction, but we like that.
The contact with the host was very good, very friendly and cosy. The location was fine, animals around you and a view of the meadows, there was a caravan with a fridge that we were allowed to use. I thought it was very successful!
After a long day of hiking, with our backpacks on our back, we arrived in the pouring rain at Jolandas. Despite the downpour, she came to greet us personally and showed us the way to the caravan. There we were allowed to dry up first and wait for the rain to stop, so that we could put up our tents dry. In the caravan was a kettle and tea ready, and we were allowed to use the games that were there especially for guests. After the worst rain was over, we set up our tent between the meadows with horses. What a rest and space on this Campspace, with the sounds of the horses in the background. The next day we were sent on our way just as warmly as we were welcomed.
Our Campspace adventure was very nice. Better than expected. Our host Jolanda was very kind. She showed us her farm, her animals and the big meadow where we could put our tent on. The pony’s stayed next to us, so we could enjoy animals, nature and a lot of privacy. Jolanda installed a camper van for her guests. We had access to fresh water, a cooking station, games, sanitary installations and even to sleeping bags (because we forgot ours). All things considered we can highly recommend Jolandas farm for holidays or a short trip. We would love to go there again in the future!

Together with a mate we camped at Jolanda's for a night whilst on a cycling holiday. We got a very warm welcome from everyone and felt at home from the beginning! It is a lovely place at a perfect location for exploring the Veluwe. Het kievitsveld is amazing for a swim. Would definitely recommend a visit!
The bee hives were my personal favourite 👌
