Peace and Space, spend the night in our pasture between the ponies, spot 1

About this campspace #s003913
Our farm is located in a quiet spot in Wenum, on the edge of Vaassen. Close to the Royal Domain, Paleis' t Loo, the Apenheul, beautiful cycling routes and within walking distance of the clog path. You can set up your tent with us in one of our meadows between the ponies. You can pick fresh mint in the garden for a nice cup of tea and we have fresh eggs from our chickens. You can make a fire in our fire pit or fire barrel. We have a barbecue and a pizza oven fired on wood. You can also play a game with us. We have various games, farmer's golf and curling. Of course you can also just enjoy nature. Every day you will see birds of prey here and if you are lucky the storks are in the pasture, or you will see an owl. Hares are here in the pasture and sometimes you see a group of deer in the twilight. I have not yet managed to spot, but the badger seems to pass by here very often. The fox too, which is why the chickens and our rabbit have to be kept under lock and key. The canal is within walking distance, you can cast a line here. We live on a gravel road, not a real thoroughfare. So if you choose Peace, Space and Respect for nature, then you have come to the right place. The communication with the hosts was good, I would give the location 5 stars out of 5. We loved the dogs Jazz and Blues and the horses were very nice as well.
We enjoyed hiking in the surroundings (Klompenpad) we also visited het Loo, de Apenheul and Kasteel Cannenburch.

I camped in one of Yolandas fields with a friend. It was our first Campspace experience and we are very positive about it. After a reception with coffee, we were well looked after with all (basic) camping equipment. We could borrow a fire pit for next to the tent and we sat here until well after the beautiful sunset. It is recommended to camp here, especially if you like enthusiastic dogs!
Very sweet hostess and you immediately feel at home. The air mattress was comfortable, but was cold. Easy fix with an extra blanket. Within cycling distance of beautiful places, such as the Kroondomein.
We were warmly received by Jolanda. As expected, the facilities are simple, but fully met expectations. A nice place with nice people. Recommended!
I had a great time. It is a beautiful place with a very friendly and caring host. It was great that there was a place to sit down and get myself a hot cup of coffee after spending my whole day on the bike. I liked falling asleep to the sound of the birds in the meadows and waking up to the sound of the ponies playing. Would come again and would recommend.
A great place to relax. Owners where very friendly and helpful, and enthusiastic to tell some things about the place. If you like animals, it’s definitely great! Two lovely playful dogs, horses, and some chickens. Also we enjoyed using the pizza oven and bbq :) Nearby is a town where there is everything you need, and beautiful forests to walk/bicycle. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
Our Campspace adventure was very nice. Better than expected. Our host Jolanda was very kind. She showed us her farm, her animals and the big meadow where we could put our tent on. The pony’s stayed next to us, so we could enjoy animals, nature and a lot of privacy. Jolanda installed a camper van for her guests. We had access to fresh water, a cooking station, games, sanitary installations and even to sleeping bags (because we forgot ours). All things considered we can highly recommend Jolandas farm for holidays or a short trip. We would love to go there again in the future!

It was nice to stay with Jolanda. She took good care of us, we got a basket of firewood from her to light a fire and we were able to choose a place for our tent ourselves. It was very cool to spot wildlife in the evening, seen a lot and that forest there is very beautiful and quiet. We had a very good time.

The contact with the host was very relaxed, she responds on time, always time for a chat there as well. Showed everything in terms of facilities and we were free in choosing where we want to stand. A nice stay for little money! We’ll be back for sure!

We had a great stay with Jolanda. Lots of space and privacy, just what we were looking for. She even came to warn us for the lightning at night and made sure we were safe. Recommended for anyone who likes being outdoors and likes conversations with the host
