Your host

Set in rural Buckinghamshire we are peacefully set back from all traffic. Only pet sheep chickens and labradors for company. You can walk down to River Ouse or simply enjoy the peace. We are friendly and accommodating so if you need anything we are always around somewhere. Local attractions: Silverstone Racecourse, Stowe, Waddeston and Claydon House, which are National Trust properties and all within easy reach. Plus Milton Keynes Xscape building and The Bowl. Nearby Buckingham is a historic market town with farmers and antiques market and Old Gaol Museum.
The campsite itself is huge and can be extended further, so just go ahead and book because there is space for everyone.

Hi, I live in such a beautiful place that it would be a shame not to share it! I'm a mother of three who rents out rooms in the family farmhouse. We are happy to share swimming pool if hot! I welcome campers both in garden and on campsite near River Ouse. We are informal and easy going so can be approached for any queries you might have. Can use our indoor space with table tennis and puzzles, books for younger visitors.

A nice large field with lots of space. Unfortunately, I arrived late and had to leave early again so didn’t get to see the river. Good and clean facilities.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good communication and a very friendly chat in the morning.

We had an amazing week staying here !

Such a beautiful, quiet spot. Ideal for those with children, so much freedom and space.

Emily was a lovely host, nothing was ever too much trouble.

The toilet and shower were kept spotless.

We loved exploring the local area.

Highly recommended, thank you Emily.

Lovely, back to basics campsite, with loads of space down by the river, at a great price! The place is silent, and we spent an evening watching swallows dart over the river, with our van parked up looking over th water. We loved it and will be back again!
