We were warmly welcomed by Jan and Martine. We got a nice spot in the garden. The grassy plain had the ambition to be a golf course. We have never been on such a neatly maintained lawn before. I understand Jan's merit 😉. We were also able to enjoy a good breakfast on the terrace. Furthermore, a neat bathroom with a nice hot shower. Should not be more. And the area where it is beautiful walking and cycling gave us a wonderful holiday. Jan and Martine also offer some extra information about the various sights in the area.

How was the contact with the host?
Jan and Martine are correct and friendly hosts.
A chat was not too much for them.

You will immediately be warmly welcomed here and you will be led directly to the beautiful garden where you can choose a spot to stand. Jan gave us all the necessary explanations and also gave us what we could do in the area (both in terms of activities, as well as catering facilities or shops / bakery).
It was a very pleasant place to be and the sanitary facilities were in perfect order. It is also nice that a number of extras are provided without obligation, such as wood for the fire pit or a nice beer.

How was the contact with the host?
Super! Jan and Martine are very hospitable and are happy to receive you in their campspace. It was also very nice that there were many information booklets with all the activities you can do in the area. That way you don't have to search too much yourself.

We will be happy to come back if we visit that region again!

Jan & Martine, super sweet and hospitable people.
Camping for the first time with my youngest son. I couldn't have wished for a better place. Large well-kept garden we were allowed to choose where we would pitch the tent. Had 2 wonderful nights and days. Delicious restaurants nearby so good food.

How was the contact with the host?
We arrived parked the car and there Jan arrived on his bike with his big smile. Got an introduction about the power supply, the fridge with local beer and wheelbarrow with wood. (Didn't use it but it was possible!)

Tips for new guests?
If you are camping with a man or 7, take other guests into account.

With the camping scooters from Skootra we enjoyed this nice Campspace. First of all, Jan and Martine are super sweet and enthusiastic hosts! Finally, the sanitary facilities are luxurious and clean.

Excellent place to discover a region too little known in the south of the country. The place is ideal for cycling (to "walk" or "ride"). Impeccable signage, beautifully maintained cycle paths and roads. Ditto for the hiking trails. Wallonia would do well to be inspired by it!

How was the contact with the host?
Excellent welcome from Jan and Martine. Their garden is not a garden;) but a park where we have found a beautiful place under the trees. A rich documentation about the activities and routes was at our disposal and Jan, who can manage in French better than us in Flemish, gladly answered all our tourist questions. We would like to point out that the sanitary facilities were very neat and accessible at all times.
We have only one small caveat to make - but our hosts can not help it - there are two or three noisy dogs in the neighborhood (so earplugs for the most sensitive). I couldn't find anything else negative to report on this campspace that I recommend especially that it only rains from 7 to 7 a.m. in Pelt;)

Etienne,
Thanks for the reply !
Nice to hear that you enjoyed it and that you were able to fill your lungs with fresh air, as you indicated when booking :). However, "Summer 2021" leaves something to be desired and the nights were rainy and windy! Fortunately, it was somewhat dry during the day and you were able to cycle nicely between the trees and explore the Lommel Sahara. The next time you come, the sun will shine brightly, we promise you that. Greetings Jan & Martine!

Before we arrived there had been personal contact with us and that was very pleasant. On arrival everything was immediately explained well and we were given a free choice to stand somewhere. We therefore also had a wonderful large place with complete privacy. We immediately received a fire pit bowl that we could use and you had all kinds of choices for RW BBQs. You share this with other guests, but that's really fine.
What we had to get used to is that it really is in Jan and Martine's backyard and that you have to pass a Private piece to go to the toilet or bathroom.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. Super friendly and very helpful. Ask questions via the app and they were very accessible. Breakfast was super tasty and the special beers too.

The garden is beautiful and spacious. It was very hot when we were there. Enough shade. However, it is located on a busy road, which makes it less pleasant to stay with the tent than a camper or caravan.

Very good. Lovely host who knows a lot about the area. And plenty of tips what to do.

Tips for new guests?
Bring earplugs. And if you are used to it in terms of crowds, you will probably sleep through the noise of the road.
